The A Wrinkle In Time soundtrack is filled with contributions from the likes of Sade, Sia and Kehlani, but it looks like the offering from Demi Lovato and DJ Khaled is going to be a scene-stealer. The tour mates announced they had hit the recording studio to put together a song called “I Believe” for the soundtrack last month. Since then we have heard a small teaser of the track, and now we are getting a first glimpse at its accompanying video.
Today (March 6), Good Morning America aired a teaser of the video, and it looks like an otherworldly affair. In it, Demi appears in a gorgeous red gown and sings in various natural settings. She emotes in the midst of a spacious field and is surrounded by lights in a lush forest setting. “I got the light inside of me. And I’ve got no choice but to let it breathe,” she sings over a building production. It sounds like the track is shaping up to be an inspirational anthem, and the video will be a must-see event.
Things could not be looking better for Demi right about now. The “Sorry Not Sorry” siren recently kickstarted her Tell Me You Love Me World Tour and last week she unveiled an English-language remix of her Luis Fonsi duet, “Échame La Culpa.” Titled “Not On You,” it seems destined to extend the Latin bop’s tenure on the charts for at least another month or two.
The soundtrack is set to drop this Friday (March 9), and hopefully the video will follow shortly after. Sade’s contribution, “Flower Of The Universe,” made a late-night appearance yesterday but seems to have been pulled offline. Hopefully we get another teaser before Friday. While we wait, check out the teaser for Demi’s latest offering below!
