Lauren Jauregui Finds Love In The Club In Steve Aoki’s “All Night” Video

0

Steve Aoki and Lauren Jauregui’s “All Night” was one of the better club collaborations of 2017, cradling the Fifth Harmony diva’s powerful pipes in lush, electro-house beats. The song reached number one on iTunes in 14 countries and could still make waves on the Billboard Hot 100 with a little love from pop radio. The just-released video, which was directed by Mike Harris, will only help its cause. After all, who doesn’t love a romance that plays out under the disco lights?

The plot is simple. Lauren, looking every inch a club queen, catches the eye of a handsome stranger and boldly decides to make a move. The 21-year-old spends most of the clip navigating her way across the dance floor. When they finally come together sparks fly. In fact, they are transported to another dimension or something like that. It’s typical EDM video nonsense, but our heroine looks amazing and it suits the fun and fabulous song. Watch up top.

I got new rules

Steve Aoki & Lauren Jauregui’s “All Night” Sounds Like A Hit

0

Lauren Jauregui has been very selective about extracurricular activities outside of Fifth Harmony. The 21-year-old made a powerful statement by lending her voice to Halsey’s same-sex love song “Strangers” and then showed she’s equally at home on a hip-hop banger courtesy of a feature on Ty Dolla $ign’s “In My Phone.” Her latest solo endeavor is a collaboration with Steve Aoki and it sounds like a hit. “All Night” hits the sweet spot between club music and radio-friendly pop, serving a chorus that gets lodged in your brain from the first listen.

“My heart beats a little faster when our eyes meet in the middle of a crowded room,” Lauren sings over twinkling synths. “In knee-deep, testing waters, I’ve got a feeling and I don’t know what to do.” The beat kicks in for the pre-chorus as the “Down” diva decides to go for it. “Got me paralyzed and I think I like it,” she purrs. “Got me by surprise, I’m not usually like this — Let’s keep this going all night.” You can stream the massive floorfiller below from midnight (ET) tonight.

Lauren Jauregui Teases Steve Aoki Collaboration “All Night”

0

Lauren Jauregui posted a studio pic with Steve Aokiway back in February, but we finally got a taste of their collaboration, “All Night” (due November 17). “You got me paralyzed and I think I like it, got me by surprise — I’m not usually like this, no,” the Fifth Harmony vocalist belts over dancehall beats. “Got me paralyzed, don’t think I can help it,” she sings on the chorus. “Why’s it feel so right? Let’s keep this going all night.” That’s followed by an explosion of synths. Needless to say, Lauren has a banger on her hands.

Steve opened up about the collaboration in a Billboard profile earlier this year. “It’s going to be something people won’t expect,” he said of “All Night.” “We’re definitely working on stuff in the studio and I want to nail it.” The DJ the sang Lauren’s praises: “She’s one of my favorite singers, so for me it’s really exciting to work with her because I really love her ideas. We’re on the same page about so many different things that it’s going to be an exciting record that we do together. Expect the unexpected.”

Vin Diesel Worked On A ‘Monster’ Dance Track With Steve Aoki

attends the premiere of «Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2» at Dolby Theatre on April 19, 2017 in Hollywood, California.

In a recent feature with the outlet, Diesel interrupted his interview to call his friend and EDM heavyweight Steve Aoki, revealing that the two worked on what’s described as a «monster track» in Las Vegas. «And when the Fast & Furious megastar played the track for his girlfriend — and mother of his three children — Paloma Jimenez the next day, it brought Diesel to tears,» the Los Angeles Times reported.

Even though neither of them shared the title or any further details about the cut, Aoki had some rather generous thoughts on the collaboration. «What Vin brought to the table, I’ve never experienced before,» he confessed. «I think it’s going to blow people’s minds.»

Diesel’s been inching his way to a crossover music career with his recent performance alongside Nicky Jam at the Billboard Latin Music Awards and his version of Kygo and Selena Gomez‘s «It Ain’t Me.»
