The Rolling Stones’ documentary of their 2016 tour in Latin America, “Olé Olé Olé! A Trip Across Latin America,” which was released for a short time to theaters in Europe, will be coming out on DVD and Blu-ray on May 26, it was announced by Eagle Rock Entertainment on March 23. The documentary shows the band playing in 10 cities and preparing to put on their first-ever concert in Havana, Cuba, which was documented in “Havana Moon,” the DVD that was released last November, and also goes behind the scenes with backstage footage of the band. That film was one of the best Stones performances in recent years with the Stones sounding energized thanks to the very enthusiastic responses of the Cuban fans.

In addition to the documentary, the “Olé Olé Olé! A Trip Across Latin America” release will include some 50 minutes of bonus live tracks from that tour, with versions of “Miss You,” You Got the Silver” and “Midnight Rambler” from Lima, Peru, “Out of Control” and “Paint It Black” from Buenos Aires, Argentina and “Honky Tonk Women” and “Sympathy for the Devil” from Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Besides “Havana Moon,” the title of which paid homage to the late Chuck Berry, the Stones last year also released “Blue & Lonesome,” a simply stunning album in which the Stones went back to their early days as a blues band. A deluxe edition, which you can now find at reduced prices, features an exclusive book of pictures and a set of postcards.
