Pink revealed on social media Friday that the singer and her young son had tested positive to — and have since recovered from — COVID-19. The singer also announced she would donate $1 million to coronavirus-related funds.

“Two weeks ago my three-year old son, Jameson, and I are were showing symptoms of COVID-19. Fortunately, our primary care physician had access to tests and I tested positive,” Pink wrote.

“My family was already sheltering at home and we continued to do so for the last two weeks following the instruction of our doctor. Just a few days ago we were re-tested and are now thankfully negative.”

The singer added, “It is an absolute travesty and failure of our government to not make testing more widely accessible. This illness is serious and real. People need to know that the illness affects the young and old, healthy and unhealthy, rich and poor, and we must make testing free and more widely accessible to protect our children, our families, our friends and our communities.”

In her post, Pink revealed that she would donate $1 million, with $500,000 going to both the Temple University Hospital Emergency Fund (the singer’s mother worked at that hospital for 18 years) and the City of Los Angeles Mayor’s Emergency COVID-19 Crisis Fund.

Pink also thanked the health care workers and doctors nationwide and reiterated to her fans, “These next two weeks are crucial: please stay home. Please. Stay. Home.”

Filming P!nk’s ‘There You Go’ Video Involved a Lot of Weed and Near Misses On Her Motorcycle

0

This week’s Billboard cover star P!nk took some time during her photo shoot to reflect upon some iconic moments from throughout her career, including filming her very first music video, her breathtaking aerial Grammys performance, and her 2018 Super Bowl appearance that she braved the flu to make happen.

First, the singer is shown a clip of the music video for her 2000 debut single “There You Go,” which saw her epically get revenge on her cheating ex as she flew her motorcycle into his apartment window.

“I think this is the prettiest I’ve ever looked, and will ever look,” she tells Billboard of the video as she watches it back. “I’d just started riding motorcycles. I almost crashed 85 times.”

She also recalls that she smoked a lot of weed during the shoot, and that director Dave Meyers had to keep asking her to stop since she could barely keep her eyes open during the beauty shots.

Shown her hilarious 2006 video for “Stupid Girls,” P!nk shares that while she enjoys making fun of other people, she also really likes making fun of herself. Speaking of the scene when she’s dancing next to what’s meant to represent 50 Cent, she reveals that the actor playing him was named Quarter Cent (he also goes by Two Five). “I’m not kidding. It’s 50’s cousin. At least that’s what he told me,” she adds.

As for her stunning, gravity-defying 2010 Grammys performance for her song “Glitter in the Air,” P!nk discloses that she still can’t believe that she was allowed to pull that off. “They let me do a song that wasn’t a single, that no one ever heard before,” she notes. “They let me fly 100 feet in the air, with no harness, with water. It was so much fun.”

She also admits that she was really nervous at the time, even when she walked down the catwalk before being lifted into the air. “I couldn’t walk in a straight line. I’m pretty sure in the first verse I almost fell over twice,” she says of walking in that white dress. “That was awesome. And LL Cool J looked at my butt. But so did Rihanna. It was a good butt.”

Looking at her 2013 video for “Just Give Me a Reason” with Nate Ruess, P!nk remembers going to her fitting and thinking that she was fat and not wanting to wear anything revealing. Now, however, looking back at it, she thinks to herself, “I was so thin.”

“That’s what we do to ourselves and we should stop it,” she adds. “And now I’m almost 150 pounds and I look fucking awesome.”

The final moment that P!nk is shown is when she sang the national anthem at the 2018 Super Bowl. Aside from noting that she had an “interesting outfit choice,” the singer expresses shock that she was even able to sing that day, since she had the flu at the time.

“I had planned this Super Bowl experience for my whole family, cause the Eagles were playing and we’re from Philly,” she says. “And then of course, the one thing the camera finds, the first place they find me is me spitting out my lozenge onto the grass. I was like, ‘Well, I tried!’ Aw, memories.”

You can check out the full video above to see P!nk react to even more memories from her career, including shooting the cover for her album M!ssundaztood and when she was names Woman of the Year by Billboard at Women in Music 2013.

P!nk Unveils Striking Video For ‘Hurts 2B Human’ Title Track With Khalid: Watch

P!nk debuted the visual for the Khalid-featuring title track from her eighth studio album Hurts 2B Human on Tuesday (Sept. 17).

The moody video features scenes of New York City individuals in their apartments, undergoing the daily stresses of life — fighting with a spouse, receiving an upsetting text message — as well as the positive, like being cheered up by a friend. P!nk and Khalid both make appearances, eventually crossing paths.

“God it hurts to be human/ Without you, I’d be losin’/ Yeah, someday we’ll face the music/ God it hurts to be human/ But I’ve got you,” the pop star sings on the gently strumming chorus before Khalid takes over on the second verse.

Pink Announces New Single “Walk Me Home,”

Resultado de imagen para Pink Announces New Single “Walk Me Home,”

Pink’s new single ‘Walk Me Home’ will be out in a couple of weeks.

The ‘Just Give Me A Reason’ hitmaker dropped a huge bombshell about new music as she made an appearance on ‘The Ellen DeGeneres Show’ on Wednesday (06.02.19) and she also confirmed her new LP, ‘Hurts to Be Human’, will be out in April.

Telling the host, she said excitedly: «I’m shooting a video in a week I think, with Michael Gracey, the director from ‘The Greatest Showman’. I’m really excited about that. He’s amazing. I have a new song, ‘Walk Me Home,’ and I have a new album ‘Hurts to Be Human’. And I think it comes out in April.»

‘Hurts to Be Human’ will be Pink’s first studio album since 2017’s ‘Beautiful Trauma’ and the singer previously revealed she credits her broad appeal to being a «hot mess».

She explained: «I think I’m just a hot mess and people appreciate that. But I look like … I go on tour and I look at the audience, and I can see every age. There’s no real demographic. There’s … it’s very surprising. It’s three generations. And that’s what I love about music. That’s … it’s the only sort of universal language that we all

speak. And I don’t know. I love that part. It’s wonderful.»

And Pink had previously opened up about how she got the inspiration for the title of her album ‘Beautiful Trauma’.

She said at the time: «I think life is really traumatic, and it feels – even though it makes me sound like my parents to say this – it feels like it’s getting more so. But I also think that there’s really beautiful people in the] world. And there’s more good than bad. And there’s love to be made and joy to be had. And I try to hold on to the beautiful part.

«But, you know, my dad always says something to me. He says, I wish you enough. And what he means by that is I wish you enough rain to be able to enjoy the sunshine. And I wish you enough hard times to be able to enjoy the easy bits. And that’s beautiful trauma to me. It’s simultaneous, but it just depends on which part you’re looking at.»

Pink Takes Viewers Behind The Scenes In Her “Whatever You Want” Video

0

Pink offers fans a behind the scenes glimpse at her life in her newly released “Whatever You Want” video. The 38-year-old selected the track as the third single to her recent LP, Beautiful Trauma. She rolled out the video as an exclusive to Apple Music users yesterday (March 1), and it has since made its way to other streaming services. In it, she offers viewers an unfettered opportunity to see what she has been up to while preparing for her tour and engaging in other promotional responsibilities.

The romantic video does more than showcase the life of one of pop’s most in-demand artists. It also highlights the special bond between the superstar and her family. Her husband, Carey Hart, and their children, Willow Sage and Jameson Moon, make many appearances throughout. It is particularly interesting to see how her family is heavily engaged with Pink’s creative process.

They were all present throughout the planning and implementation of events such as her performance at the Super Bowl, and there is nothing cuter than watching Pink learn choreography while balancing Jameson in her hands. Intercut between these precious moments are scenes of the superstar performing the hit on a stage. There is also some precious footage of Carey and her snuggling up and evidence of her preparing another jaw-dropping performance that will see her swinging from the ceiling.

Buoyed by its endearing video, “Whatever You Want” will hopefully take off on the charts. Although the LP’s lead single, “What About Us,”broke into the top 20, its title track stalled in the lower rungs of the charts. Pink’s latest bottles all of her best qualities and will hopefully soar higher with the right promotional push. As she kicks off her Beautiful Trauma World Tour, the video also offers a rare glimpse into how a pop star gets ready to pull off such incredible feats. Give the video a view up top!

Pink, Katy Perry, Charli XCX & More Respond to Neil Portnow’s “Step Up” Comment

0

Just when you thought the Grammys couldn’t be any more out of touch, Recording Academy president Neil Portnow responded to male artists sweeping all major categories by suggesting, among other things, that women need to “step up.” I’m not joking. “It has to begin with… women who have the creativity in their hearts and souls, who want to be musicians, who want to be engineers, producers, and want to be part of the industry on the executive level… [They need] to step up because I think they would be welcome,” he told Variety.

The backlash was swift and brutal with Pink leading the way. “Women in music don’t need to ‘step up’ — women have been stepping since the beginning of time,” she wrote in a handwritten letter. “Stepping up, and also steppin aside. Women OWNED music this year. They’ve been KILLING IT. And every year before this. When we celebrate and honor the talent and [accomplishments] of women, and how much women STEP UP every year, against all odds, we show the next generation of women and girls and boys and men what it means to be equal, and what it looks like to be fair.”

“Another powerful woman, leading by example,” Katy Perry responded to Pink’s message. “We ALL have a responsibility to call out the absurd lack of equality everywhere we see it. I’m proud of ALL the women making incredible art in the face of continual resistance.” Charli XCX was less diplomatic. “Ugh bout 2 step up on 2 ur face.. women are making AMAZING music right now wtf is this dude talking about ?????” she tweeted. Iggy Azalea also chimed in, suggesting women boycott next year’s event. See all of their tweets below.

Lady Gaga, Pink & More Sign On To Perform At The 2018 Grammys

0

The Grammys are right around the corner, and things are starting to heat up as we prepare for the biggest night in music. Set to take place in New York City’s Madison Square Garden, it will air on January 28. With James Corden returning to host and Jay-Z leading the horde of nominees, it is already shaping up to be a monumental night. Today (January 4) things got even more exciting with the announcement of the first string of performers including Lady GagaPinkLittle Big Town and Childish Gambino.

This marks the fourth consecutive year that Mother Monster will take the stage and her sixth time performing at the Grammys overall. Last year the hitmaker teamed up with Metallica to perform a hard-hitting rendition of “Moth Into Flame,” which ended up being one of the most iconic moments of the evening. This year she will be performing a track off her latest LP, Joanne, though it is admittedly the perfect opportunity to introduce a new single. Perhaps she has a medley in the works?

Gaga is in the running for two awards during the show. She is competing against the likes of Lana Del ReyKesha and Ed Sheeran for the title of Best Pop Vocal Album. Meanwhile, her soaring ballad “Million Reasons” received a nomination for the Best Pop Solo Performance. There she faces off against Kelly Clarkson, Ed, Kesha and her fellow performer Pink.

This will mark Pink’s first awards show performance since she scaled Los Angeles’ JW Marriott to perform while suspended in the air at the American Music Awards. Although her Beautiful Trauma lead single, “What About Us,” is nominated for a Grammy, the hitmaker is more likely to perform the album’s title track and current single. It will be interesting to see how she tops her last set, though I have no doubt she will manage.

Little Big Town and Childish Gambino are also nominated for awards. The country collective nabbed three nods in categories including Best Country Album, Best Country Song and Country Duo/Group Performance. Childish Gambino meanwhile received five nominations and is in the running for two of the evening’s highest honors: Record of the Year and Album of the Year.

It will be interesting to see who else is selected to perform during the show, and we are sure to get more information as the official date looms ever closer. Kesha, Miley CyrusJohn Legend and a handful of other big names are scheduled to perform a tribute to Elton John during the annual Grammy Salute January 30. If we are lucky we will get a teaser of the tribute during the awards show. Until we have any other confirmation though check out the latest announcement below!

Eminem & Pink Are In A Co-Dependent Relationship On “Need Me”

0

Eminem recruited a slew of famous faces to appear on his ninth studio album, Revival. He managed a surprise feature with Beyonce on the project’s lead single, “Walk On Water” and delivered an unexpected collaboration with Ed Sheeran on the riveting album track “River.” But that is not all. Out today (December 15), the LP also includes duets with PinkAlicia Keys and Kehlani.

The “Lose Yourself” rapper teams up with Pink on “Need Me,” a swelling ode to a toxic relationship that is one of the strongest offerings from the album. “You’re drunk. The coffee is burned. I hate to find you like this; I always find you like this,” the Beautiful Trauma siren laments over a delicate production. As frustrated as she is, she finds herself unable to move on.

“Some nights I want to run for the hills. It’s never easy with you. I cannot reason with you, but your smile is as rare as it comes,” she sings, realizing that they both need each other to survive. For his part, Eminem is equally caught up in their frenzied romance. “But God must have aligned the stars for us. ‘Cause somebody paired us up, and they say he ain’t capable of making a mistake,” he raps.

This marks the duo’s third collaboration, and it is easily their most evocative. They teamed up on the hard-edged “Won’t Back Down” in 2010 and reunited on Pink’s equally barbed “Revenge” earlier this year. Here they capitalize on their easy chemistry, and the result is something truly heartrending. Hopefully the track will get pushed as an official single at some point. Until then give it a spin below!

Pink Recorded A Duet With Christina Aguilera, Scrapped A Video With Eminem

0

Pink was obviously feeling chatty when she sat down for an interview with The Sun. The superstar confirmed that she recorded a duet with Christina Aguilera and revealed that she scrapped a video for Eminemcollaboration, “Revenge.” Let’s start with the former, because iconic. “We did a duet for her album and I don’t know when it’s coming out but it’s amazing,” the 38-year-old gushed. “We did it two years ago so I don’t remember the title, but she’s incredible.” It’s a little (ok, a lot) worrying that it has been in the can this long, but Xtina works in mysterious ways.

The “What About Us” hitmaker then addressed the non-existent shade she threw at her “Lady Marmalade” collaborator at the American Music Awards. “It is really frustrating, but I fight back. I do it less than I used to but I do when I think the narrative needs to be changed,” Pink said. “It’s bullshit, I’m not gonna stand for it. But I’m used to it, to be honest. And this never happens to men, it’s very specific to females.” She makes a valid point there. As for that scrapped Eminem video, it just didn’t turn out right.

“We shot it and it was terrible,” the Grammy winner confided. “It’s never coming out. It just didn’t work and it was the wrong timing for it. I looked like hell, it was awful. Thank god Eminem wasn’t in it. If he was in it I would have been mortified. We had Eminem lookalikes, ‘Beautiful Trauma’ is better.” Watch that video below.
