Love Blooms In The Desert In Niall Horan’s “On The Loose” Video

0

“On The Loose” is Niall Horan’s most ambitious visual to date. Admittedly, he’s only released one (his first two singles didn’t get video treatments) but there’s a cinematic quality to the Jake Jelicich-directed clip that sets it apart from “Too Much To Ask.” The action begins with the Irish pop star driving through the Californian desert, before setting eyes on a mystery woman. Niall then watches her dance in an empty swimming pool, before they exchange sultry glances across a bonfire. It’s all very glamorous and suits the breezy bop perfectly.

To date, the 24-year-old has had one of the most successful solo eras of any 1D alum. Flicker topped the Billboard 200 and delivered two sizable hits. The folky “This Town” peaked at number 20, while “Slow Hands” made it all the way to number 11. His third single got lost in the Christmas rush, but “On The Loose” could well return Niall to the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100. The Julian Bunetta-produced earworm gets catchier with each listen and shares the same sexyy quality as “Slow Hands.” Watch up top.

Niall Horan Drops Colorful Lyric Video for «On the Loose»

0

After teasing the lyric video to his pop-rock jam “On the Loose” over the weekend, Niall Horan finally dropped the animated video on Monday (Feb. 12).

The lyric video features a mysterious lady starring as the girl “on the loose” who seduces multiple men. The former One Direction member announced that it would be the latest single from his debut album Flicker, which was released in October. Horan heads out on his Flicker World Tour next month.

Niall Horan Picks “On The Loose” As His Next Single

0

Niall Horan is rolling out “On The Loose” as the fourth single from debut LP, Flicker. He made the announcement via Instagram — revealing the retro cover art, which depicts a black-and-white drawing of a woman holding a love heart. While “Seeing Blind” (the Irishman’s duet with Maren Morris) would be my choice, “On The Loose” makes a lot of sense. Like “Slow Hands,” it was produced by Julian Bunetta and is similarly upbeat. As much as I love Niall’s stripped-back songs, this is more radio-friendly.

To date, the 24-year-old has had one of the most successful solo eras of any 1D alum. Flicker topped the Billboard 200 and delivered two sizable hits. The folky “This Town”peaked at number 20, while “Slow Hands” made it all the way to number 11. (It would have climbed a lot higher if the video wasn’t scrapped). Third single, “Too Much To Ask,” got lost in the Christmas rush, but “On The Loose” could well return him to the upper reaches of the Billboard Hot 100. Check out the artwork below.

First Zayn Malik, then Harry Styles. Now Niall Horan has his own solo album.

The former One Direction singer finally dropped Flicker, his debut LP which includes the singles “This Town,” “Slow Hands” and the new release, “Too Much To Ask.”

Flicker is the result of a year-and-a-half-long writing and recording process. “It’s something that I’ve worked really hard on and I’m incredibly proud of it,” he tweeted overnight. «This is the first time I’ve put my thoughts and emotions on paper and then onto record and it feels really good.”

To celebrate the release, Apple produced the documentary On The Record: Flicker, which features interviews with the Irishman and behind-the-scenes footage from recording sessions and acoustic rehearsals.

Producers Julian Bunetta, Jacquire King and Greg Kurstin honed the sound of the new 10-track album (ballooning to 13 with bonus works).

Justin Bieber parodies Niall Horan’s debut album artwork

«Let me see that mug of yours».

Justin Bieber has parodied the artwork of Niall Horan‘s debut album, after the pair were spotted hanging together over the weekend.

Former One Direction star Niall is gearing up to release debut album ‘Flicker’, with the record artwork featuring a close up of his face.

But Bieber has now taken a light-hearted jab at the photo after posting it on Instagram, before immediately following it with a close up of his own face. You can see the two posts below.

It’s unlikely that there was any ill will behind the posts however, after Bieber filmed footage of the pair hanging out last weekend.

Posting on Instagram, Bieber shared a video of Horan refusing to smile for the camera, much to his protestation.

“Let me see that mug of yours”, Bieber jokingly shouts in the clip.

Niall Horan Reveals The Cover Of Debut LP «Flicker»

0

Niall Horan announced his debut LP, Flicker, on social media this afternoon (September 14). The title isn’t exactly a surprise. After all, the Irishman’s current tour is called The Flicker Sessions. However, the arrival of the cover and a concrete release date was enough to throw the hitmaker’s fans into a retweeting frenzy (30,000 shares in less than an hour). “It’s been a long time coming but I’m delighted to announce that my new album Flicker is out on the 20th of October,” he wrote. “I hope you enjoy it.”

After testing the waters with folky single “This Town,” Niall really found his feet as a solo performer with “Slow Hands.” The Julian Bunetta-produced earworm was a massive hit around the globe and is still climbing the Billboard Hot 100 on the back of surging pop radio airplay and healthy streaming. It would have already peaked a lot higher than number 14 if the former One Direction member released a video. (One was filmed but ultimately scrapped). See the full cover below.

Niall Horan Nurses Heartbreak On New Single “Too Much To Ask”

0

Niall Horan’s solo career continues to go from strength to strength with the arrival of “Too Much To Ask.” A tender ballad about hankering for an ex, the track showcases the Irishman’s simple, heartfelt approach. “The shadows dancing without you for the first time, my heart is hoping you’ll walk right in tonight,” he sings on the chorus over a melancholy piano arrangement. “Tell me there are things that you regret, ’cause if I’m being honest I ain’t over you yet… is it too much to ask?”

The beautifully-crafted pop song clearly means a lot to the 24-year-old. “My new single & one of my favourites on the album ‘Too Much to Ask’ is out at midnight EST,” he tweeted earlier tonight (September 14). “It’s a very special song to me and I hope you like it.” The ballad is the third cut from Niall’s just-announced Flicker LP. It drops on October 20 and contains the folky lead single “This Town” and breakthrough smash “Slow Hands.” Listen below.
