Listen to Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj’s New Song “Swish Swish”

She shoots, she scores. Katy Perry and Nicki Minaj play ball on “Swish Swish,” the third track lifted from Perry’s upcoming album Witness.

Produced by Duke Dumont, the housey “Swish Swish» opens with the meaty sample which fills up Fatboy Slim’s 2000 club tune «Star 69». «Swish, swish, bish/Another one in the basket/Can’t touch this/Another one in the casket,» Katy sings.

Nicki holds up the mirror and lets fly with a rap: «Pink Ferragamo sliders on deck/Silly rap beefs just get me more checks/My life is a movie, I’m never off set.»

Witness is due to drop June 9 on Capitol Records and will include the already-released tracks “Chained To The Rhythm” and the Migos-featuring “Bon Appétit.» Perry and Minaj will team up again for the Calvin Harris tune “Soft Lips.” Listen to «Swish Swish» below.

Miley Cyrus will give her new song, “Malibu,”

Miley Cyrus will give her new song, “Malibu,” its television debut when she performs at the Billboard Music Awards, the event announced Wednesday. The broadcast will air May 21 — a week after Cyrus releases the new song.

“Miley Cyrus is and always has been an artist that makes an impact. Her incredible talent and imprint on pop culture are undeniable,” BBMAs executive producer Mark Bracco said in a statement. “We are thrilled to have her debut ‘Malibu’ at the 2017 Billboard Music Awards and look forward to a raw and honest performance that will likely surprise many.”

Cyrus, whose last album was 2015’s Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz, previously told Billboard that “Malibu” was partly inspired by her rekindled relationship with Liam Hemsworth. “I never would’ve believed you if three years ago you told me I’d be here writing this song,” she said. “[People are] going to talk about me if I come out of a restaurant with Liam. So why not put the power back in my relationship and say, ‘This is how I feel’?”

Jason Derulo Enlists Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign for His New Track «Swalla»

After months and months of teasers, Jason Derulo’s new single “Swalla” is finally here.

The Nicki Minaj and Ty Dolla Sign-assisted track was previewed back in September on Jason’s Instagram page. The 27-year-old singer shared a snippet of the song with a caption that read “dopest track ever,” and later dished about his decision to team up with Nicki and Ty. “Swalla” definitely has potential. Though there’s a lot going on in the song, the electronic-infused Carribean sound is expected to get a lot of love in the dance clubs. Both Jason and Ty handle their verses nicely, but Nicki is definitely the star.

#HotCollaboration: The Chainsmokers & Coldplay

Relax, it’s ok! I know a lot of fans feared the worst when they heard Coldplay had joined forces with The Chainsmokers, but “Something Just Like This” works. And it’s really not that surprising. Drew and Alex’s rise to the top of EDM has been fueled by emo-bangers like “Closer” and “All We Know,” while Chris Martin & Co. have been playing with our emotions since the arrival of Parachutes way back in 2000.

The Chainsmokers & Coldplay Team Up For New Single “Something Just Like This”

It’s also not the band’s first dalliance with dance. After all, Avicii produced “A Sky Full Of Stars” and that’s now viewed as something of a late classic.

“She said, ‘Where you want to go? How much you want to risk?’ I’m not looking for somebody with some superhuman gift, some superhero, some fairytale bliss,” Chris croons over shimmery synths. “Just something I can turn to, somebody I can kiss. I want something just like this.” It’s all very polite and romantic until The Chainsmokers pull the trigger with a “Roses”-like drop. On the first listen, I don’t love it as much as “Paris” or “Don’t Let Me Down,” but everyone escapes with their dignity intact. Give it a spin below.

Lana Del Rey’s new video is a love story set in outer space

Lana Del Rey just released a new video for her track “Love,” the first single off her upcoming fifth studio album. The clip, directed by Rich Lee, tells a pretty average love story (boy and girl ride off into the sunset in their vintage car) before trading in the video’s initial West Coast setting for outer space.

While most of Del Rey’s videos tend to rely on the drama of the terrestrial Earth —whether it’s a dusty open road or a rocky beach — she has previously discussed her interest in the extraterrestrial. In an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1 last year, LDR said she admired Elon Musk for pushing SpaceX into new territory. “Technologically, we’re advancing so quickly, I don’t want to miss any of it,” she said. “I feel like we’re on the cusp just the way they were in the ‘60s, but in a different way.”

In a statement about the video, she said, «I made my first four albums for me, but this one is for my fans and about where I hope we are all headed,» according to Rolling Stone. I guess she hopes we’re all headed somewhere with a little less gravity.

Ed Sheeran Celebrates Birthday By Dropping New Song

“How Would You Feel” is another track from his third album, ‘Divide.’

Ed Sheeran is building the buzz for Divide, his upcoming third album, with the release of a third track from it.

After the record-smashing whirlwind that was the advance release of Divide tracks «Shape of You» and «Castle on the Hill,” the Englishman changes pace on “How Would You Feel (Paean),” a Kleenex-clincher of a slow ballad assisted with acoustic guitar, piano and drums played with brushes.

The singer and songwriter dropped the promo track as his birthday gift to fans (he turned 26 on Friday). Sheeran sings in the chorus, “How would you feel/If I told you I loved you/It’s just something that I want to do/I’m taking my time, spending my life/Falling deeper in love with you/So tell me that you love me too.”
