Maisie Williams Says She’s a Bridesmaid at Sophie Turner & Joe Jonas’ Wedding

Maisie Williams and Sophie Tuner may play sisters on the Game of Thrones series, but the two are best friends in real life. Naturally, that means Williams will be a bridesmaid at Turner and fiancé Joe Jonas’ upcoming wedding ceremony.

Radio Times asked Williams in a recent interview if she is “already bidding for a role as bridesmaid,” to which the actress responded, “I already got it!”

“It’s very, very exciting. It’s kind of bizarre, though,” she continued.

While Turner and Jonas got engaged back October, Williams said the wedding planning hasn’t officially begun yet: “We’re waiting until this season [of Game of Thrones] is done until we get into any of that. But I think she’s already letting her little heart wander and imagine.”

Watch the clip below, which starts around the 1 minute mark.

Maisie Williams & Sophie Turner Do Hilarious Ned Stark Impressions as ‘Game of Thrones’ Finale Title Revealed

Like father, like daughters!

Game of Thrones stars Maisie Williams and Sophie Turner took a drive together for Apple Music’s Carpool Karaoke series — premiering Tuesday at 9 p.m. ET —  where they traveled down memory lane to do hilarious impressions of Ned Stark (Sean Bean), the (VERY old spoiler alert) deceased father of their characters on the HBO fantasy series, Arya and Sansa Stark.

The two could barely contain their laughter as they played a game where they uttered famous pop culture phrases, such as The Lion King’s “Hakuna Matata” and Sir-Mix-a-Lot’s “Oh my god. Look at her butt,” as though they were a Stark, peering over the northern wall.

Watch the video below.

Clearly, the Stark blood runs through their veins.

** Warning: Spoilers from this point on.**

While it might be all fun and games in the real world, things are setting up for quite the clash on this Sunday’s Game of Thrones season finale, which HBO revealed is called “The Dragon and the Wolf,” and runs a series-record 79 minutes, 43 seconds. The previous record is held by last week’s episode, “Beyond the Wall.»

Given the title, we can imagine Dany’s two remaining dragons — and hopefully Jon’s direwolf, Ghost — will be major players to cap off a season that’s already had an abundance of fire-breathing fury. Besides the fact that Cersei Lannister will be coming into contact with Jon, her brother, Tyrion (Lord of Light help us with that one), and possibly Dany (though she’s not present in the meeting footage in the trailer), we also have the added anxiety of knowing that the Night King speared Dany’s poor dragon, Viserion, to death — only to bring him back as the White Walkers’ most terrifying zombie-fied creature yet.

Gulp. Game of Thrones’ midseason finale airs on Sunday on HBO.

Watch «Game Of Thrones2 stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams prank fans in «Carpool Karaoke» clip

Game Of Thrones stars Sophie Turner and Maisie Williams appear in a preview for an upcoming episode of Apple Music’s new Carpool Karaoke series.

The pair had teased their appearance back in March. It is thought to have been filmed that month during SXSW festival in Austin, Texas.

This preview clip sees Williams and Turner singing Miley Cyrus‘ ‘Wrecking Ball’ and ‘Sorry’ by Justin Bieber before pranking a group of GoT fans. Watch that beneath.

Meanwhile, HBO have once again been hit by hackers after their social media accounts were recently compromised.

HBO was first hit by the ‘major cyber attack’ last month, in which hackers threatened to leak a massive 1.5 terabytes of stolen content. So far, personal details of the ‘Game Of Thrones’ cast members have been shared, as well as the upcoming season 7 episode 6. The ‘fourth wave’ hack occurred earlier this month.

The hackers, known as ‘OurMine’, have struck the cable giant’s social media networks – taking them over briefly last night (August 16(. As well as the Facebook and Twitter accounts for HBO itself, they also seized control of the social channels ‘Game Of Thrones’ and ‘Westworld’.

One of the since deleted Tweets included: “OurMine are here. We are just testing your security”. Another message tried to get the hashtag ‘#HBOleak’ trending. This is being viewed as escalating the threat to leak more information unless their demands are met.
