It’s official: Demi Lovato is getting hitched!

The pop star is taking her relationship with Max Ehrich to the next stage, after saying “yes” to his marriage proposal.

The “Sorry Not Sorry” singer shared the good news in an Instagram post (see below).

“When I was a little girl, my birth dad always called me his ‘little partner’ – something that might’ve sounded strange without his southern cowboy like accent,” she writes. “To me it made perfect sense. And today that word makes perfect sense again but today I’m officially going to be someone else’s partner.”

Ehrich, whom she has been romantically linked to since March, is the right guy.  “I knew I loved you the moment I met you,” she continues.

“It was something I can’t describe to anyone who hasn’t experienced it firsthand but luckily you did too.. I’ve never felt so unconditionally loved by someone in my life (other than my parents) flaws and all,” she enthuses. “You never pressure me to be anything other than myself. And you make me want to be the best version of myself.”

Ehrich proposed, Lovato said yes. And the happy couple are all loved up.

“I’m honored to accept your hand in marriage,” Demi writes. “I love you more than a caption could express but I’m ecstatic to start a family and life with you. I love you forever my baby. My partner. Here’s to our future.”

The couple confirmed their relationship in May by making a surprise appearance in the music video for Justin Bieber and Ariana Grande’s quarantine tune, «Stuck With U.”

Since then, it’s all been cuddles for the pair, who are both in their late 20s. A wedding date has yet to be announced.

Sam Smith and Demi Lovato are «ready» for real love.

In their dynamic yet sultry new single, «I’m Ready,» released on Thursday (April 16), the pop vocal powerhouses come together to take charge of falling in love with a special someone. «I’m ready for someone to love me,» they declare in the bass-y chorus.

The accompanying video finds the duo conquering a number of Olympian events, including wrestling, diving, synchronized swimming and more. The two meet up in an emotive medal ceremony, as a gospel choir belts the chorus once more.

“I’m Ready” is the first single off Smith’s third studio album, due out later this year.

As the coronavirus continues to keep fans and artists alike locked inside, extra measures are being taken by performers to make sure that their fans get the right content at the right time. Now, pop superstar Sam Smith is giving their fans a peek inside the process behind those measures.

On Thursday (April 16), Smith joined Apple Music’s Zane Lowe via video for an at-home interview, where the two chatted about Smith’s upcoming projects.

The subjects of Smith’s new single with Demi Lovato, their postponed album, and the effect that life in quarantine is having on their process were all on the table.

«Music has taken a whole different shape, actually,» Smith said. «It really has. It’s really beautiful. It’s a really interesting time. I have written a bit the last few weeks, and it’s weird what comes out. It’s going to be a weird time.»

With the release of their new single «I’m Ready» with Demi Lovato on the horizon, Smith gave fans a quick teaser of what they can expect to hear. «It’s 2020 Abba, do you know what I mean?» they asked. «It almost sounds a bit musical theater at times. It feels cheesy at times. And I’m trying to own that because that is a genuine feeling that comes out sometimes in the studio and it’s fun. It’s really fun to go to that place.»

Smith also spoke about their recent decision to not only postpone, but rename their upcoming third studio album (originally titled To Die For). Smith told Lowe that the decision to make those changes «hasn’t been challenging,» and that they may make even more changes to the final product.

«I don’t even know if I’m going to put ‘Dancing With a Stranger’ on there, and ‘How Do You Sleep’ and ‘To Die For,'» they said. «I think might take them off and do something completely fresh and it’ll be a completely new album.»

Demi Lovato

There’s no denying that 2020 has been a big year for Demi Lovato. After making her triumphant return at the Grammys, the star has already released two new singles, teased major collaborations, and has a brand new album on its way.

But the star has also spent much of 2020 being as honest as possible with her fans (and her family). In her new cover story with Harper’s Bazaar, Lovato opened up once again about her dating life, saying that she’s still interested in both men and women and isn’t entirely sure who she’ll end up with later on in life.

«When I imagine my life in the future, I don’t say, ‘I’m looking for a man who I want to have two or three kids with,'» she said. «I think it could be so much fun to share children with a woman … So I don’t know what my future will look like, and I’m open to anything.»

The star elaborated, saying that when it comes to the people she dates, she’s not necessarily looking for anything in particular. «People always ask me, ‘What’s your type?’ And I’m like, ‘Have you seen my history?’ There is no type,» she said. «It is solely off connection. I wish I could say, ‘I only date attractive people.’ But I don’t.»

However, all of those concerns have been put on the backburner by Demi, who said that after being locked out of her own Raya account, she decided to take it as a sign. «I was like, ‘You know what? It’s fine. I don’t need to be on this because I think I’m supposed to be alone right now.’

Sam Smith and Demi Lovato fans rejoice, the wait for a musical collaboration between the two pop stars is almost over.

On Sunday (April 12), Smith and Lovato teased the upcoming duet on social media. «YOU READY,» the British crooner tweeted, tagging Lovato. «I’M READY,» the songstress responded, attaching a GIF with their initials.

The superstar singers didn’t reveal a specific date for the song’s release, but Lovato’s manager, Scooter Braun, retweeted the exchange, adding, «This week!! #SamxDemi.»

In late March, Smith shared a note on social media, informing fans that they would be pushing the May 1 release date of their third album to a later date, and renaming the release, which was originally titled To Die For.

«There will be an album this year, I promise!» Smith wrote. «But until then, I am still going to bring out some new music over the next few months, which I’m incredibly excited about.»

It’s no secret that Smith and Lovato are big fans of each other. Back in 2017, Lovato nailed a cover of Smith’s «Too Good at Goodbyes» during a BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge session. Smith took notice of the cover and praised it on social media.

«YES @ddlovato ❤️ SAAAAAAANG IT,» they tweeted.

Lovato also revealed that she was «dying to collaborate with him.»

Demi Lovato sings «I Love Me» on ‘Tonight Show: At Home Edition’

While the world sits at home and waits, Demi Lovato checked in with Jimmy Fallon for an online chat and a song to blow away the lockdown blues.

Lovato was a guest for the latest «At Home» edition of Fallon’s The Tonight Show.

The pop star belted out her most recent Hot 100 hit “I Love Me,” proving that she’s been putting in the hard work during these weeks of downtime.

Fallon and Lovato also had a timely conversation on mental health. “It’s so important right now,” she explained. “We’re alone with our thoughts right now, some of us are at home alone…it’s really just them and their minds. Those voices in your head can get really loud. I call them roommates. The roommates in your head can be just as annoying as a real roommate.”

And how to quiet those voices down? Meditation helps, according to Lovato. “If you have a higher power that you believe in. Playing with animals. Whatever you can do to continue to grow spiritually and emotionally while we’re stuck in these houses.”

Lovato sees a silver lining in all this. “We all have to use this as an experience and a chance to grow.” Take small steps, she explains and “do little things every day.”

In times of social distancing, technology is bringing people together. Lovato’s manager Scooter Braun is keeping celebrities together with a Facetime group. So who has she been schmoozing with? Bill Clinton, for one. Katy Perry, Ariana Grande. “Every night it’s somebody new, a guest of honor.”

Lovato is currently chilling in Los Angeles with her family. It’s a full house, with her mom and dad, older sister, younger sister and five dogs.

Lovato also took a moment to discuss her Grammy performance (Lovato admits to being “very nervous” and it was a somber day with news of Kobe Bryant’s death crushing the city) and her support for Dream Corps’ Cut50 campaign to reduce incarceration.

Everyone’s got time to burn right now and creativity is king, so Jimmy and Demi figured it’d be a good chance to paint each other’s portraits. Check out the result below.

The Young and Restless star Max Ehrich hopped on Instagram Live over the weekend, and a very interesting guest made an accidental appearance.

That’s right. Demi Lovato, who is rumored to be dating the actor, walked into the room as Ehrich entertained fans on the piano. In a clip uploaded to Twitter, the actor looks off-camera and tries to warn Lovato by whispering «I’m on live.»

Lovato, who couldn’t hear what he said, approached him smiling and holding a blanket. When she asked him to repeat, and realized what was happening, she covered her face with the blanket and laughed as she walked away.

The stars have yet to confirm their relationship, but the fact that they are seemingly quarantining together speaks for itself. See the hilarious IG Live moment below.

The list of performers at Super Bowl LIV just keeps getting bigger and bolder. A week after taking the stage at this year’s Grammy Awards, Demi Lovato will help kick off the big game in Miami by singing the National Anthem on Feb. 2 at Hard Rock Stadium. She joins a lineup that includes halftime headliners Jennifer Lopez and Shakira.

«See you in Miami,» Lovato wrote on Instagram along with a glamorous shot in which she’s flanked by palm trees.

There’s no word on what Lovato will sing at the Grammys, but she «Star Spangled Banner» performance will follow on the hells of last year’s soulful take from Gladys Knight and P!nk’s powerful run in 2018, during which the singer was battling the flu.
