Deadpool Takes Us Behind The Scenes Of Celine Dion’s “Ashes” Video

Celine Dion’s “Ashes” is one of the happiest surprises of 2018. Not only is the Steve Mac-produced track a return to the soaring power ballads that made the Canadian songbird a household name in the ’90s, the Deadpool 2theme song also has one of the funniest videos in recent memory. The juxtaposition of Celine wildly emoting while the charred superhero dances beside her in stilettos is truly a sight to behold. The clip immediately went viral, racking up more than 12 million views in three days.

A behind-the-scenes video arrives this morning (May 7) and it’s another unexpected delight. Deadpool jokes about having bones removed and Celine being hologram, while the legendary diva asks if his breasts are real. (It turns out they have the same cup size). She posted a link to the clip on Instagram and praised her co-star. “What a dancer!” the Grammy winner raved. “Passionate, emotional and impossibly fluid…..What’s left to say?” The Deadpool 2 soundtrackdrops May 18, the same day the movie hits theaters.
