Megan Thee Stallion Reveals WhetherShe Has Beef With Cardi B After RumorsOf A Feud

After fans accused Megan Thee Stallion of dissing Cardi B by liking shady comments about her, Megan took to Twitter to set the record straight!

Let’s get one thing straight: There is NO beef between Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion. Although fans thought they had uncovered the latest rap feud by accusing Megan ‘liking’ negative comments about Cardi on social media, the “Hot Girl Summer” singer made it clear that there’s NO drama between the women. “I did not like no damn stupid a** comment like this,” Megan wrote on Twitter. “I don’t even upload my own s*** to my YouTube, my label does.”

She also went on to explain that she isn’t here for any drama. “I DON’T HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ANYBODY,” Megan added. “I don’t like drama. I do not bring other females down. Stop trying to start fake beef.” Rumors of a Megan/Cardi feud began when fans apparently noticed that Megan’s YouTube account was ‘liking’ shady comments from fans about Cardi on her page. Some of the comments included, “She exceeded Cardi” and “I’m guessing y’all females leaving Cardi B in 2019.”

However, it looks like Megan is placing the blame on her record label, 1501 Certified Entertainment, for the disses. This is not the first time that she’s had an issue with the label — earlier this year, she sued 1501 after they blocked her from releasing new music. She explained that she was young when she signed her contract with the company, so she did not know what she was agreeing to. It wasn’t until she signed with new management that she was made aware of the stipulations she had signed up for.

Megan was granted a temporary restraining order against the record company and its CEO in March. The label attempted to dissolve the restraining order, but was denied by the courts. Megan went ahead and released her EP, Suga, on March 6, once everything was resolved.

Hear a Teeny Tiny Clip of New Music From Cardi B

Though we’re only a couple of days into the new year, it appears Cardi B is ready to let the cat out the bag regarding her next album.

After being asked to «spill the tea» on her forthcoming single on Twitter, on Monday (Jan. 6), Cardi tantalized fans with a quick three-second teaser of her Wheezy-produced track. Though Cardi only utters «Don’t shake / Earthquake» on the snippet, it did more than enough to cause a frenzy on social media. «OMG SOUNDS LIKE A BOP… YOU’RE SUCH A TEASE,» tweeted one fan. «Can’t wait for your new album!!»

Last year, Cardi dished out a bevy of singles, including «Press» and the Bruno Mars-assisted jam «Please Me,» with the latter vaulting its way into the top five on the Hot 100. In November, Cardi unleashed a blistering minute-long freestyle on Instagram, which served as an appetizer for her hotly-anticipated sophomore attempt.

This month, the Bronx MC is up for best rap performance at this year’s Grammys for Offset’s thunderous record «Clout.» The record peaked at No. 39 on the Hot 100 last May.

Cardi B is the latest guest to appear on the rapid 73 Questions segment for Vogue, which was released Tuesday (Nov. 19). The interview takes place at Cardi’s grandmother’s modest home in Washington Heights, while she holds a napping baby Kulture. Cardi hits on motherhood, the music industry and her album and even Facetimes Offset for a quick chat.

As far as her heavily anticipated sophomore LP, Cardi says the 2020 effort will be «spicy» and «controversial.» She previously told Billboard that the album is on her mind «24/7» and she won’t be following the current trends in rap. «I still gotta go with what I want to do,» Cardi said earlier this month.

Cardi B has evolved into a style icon in music, as she stays draped in designer at all times. When it comes to her early fashion inspirations, the 27-year-old pointed to Missy Elliott, Jennifer Lopez, Lady Gaga and Rihanna as those she would give credit for paving the way.

She also opened up about how her dream of being a mom kept her motivated to keep pushing and on a straight path in life. «In order for me to spoil my child for the rest of my life, I have to have money and make money for the rest of my life,» Cardi shared.

It’s no secret Cardi B vehemently opposes President Trump, as she’s aligned herself with 2020 hopeful Bernie Sanders. If she had one question for Trump, she would ask, «If you don’t love every American citizen, why become president?»

The cat is out of the bag, thanks to Vin Diesel. Cardi B looks to have notched a role in the upcoming Fast & Furious 9 movie, which is set to hit theaters in May 2020. Diesel posted a clip from their final day shooting for Fast 9 in the United Kingdom with none other than Cardi, as both looked as if the countless hours on set had worn them down.

Bardi seemed to be fresh out of an action-packed scene while rocking a heavy-duty vest and showing off her black gloves to match. «I’m tired, but I can’t wait. I ain’t gonna front, I think this is going to be the best one,» she declared. «I need to take a nappy-nap. I’m ready to take my nappy-nap.»

Cardi B Can’t Swim — So Rapper Jokes That She Bought Breast Implants to ‘Float’ Instead

Cardi B is back with yet another hilariously candid confession — and this time, it’s about her breast implants.

On Sunday, the “Press” rapper captioned a photo of herself rocking colorful braids, a cut-out black long-sleeved crop top (which exposes most of her chest) and neon pink pants on Instagram, “I can’t swim so I bought these titties so I can float.”

In the comments section of the post, Cardi, 26, received love from several stars, including DJ Diplo, who wrote, “Your [sic] a genius.” Supermodel Naomi Campbell also commented, “I know the feeling can’t float,” with two hearts.

Though it has been a longstanding urban myth that breast implants can help people float, it has been proven that saline implants have little to no impact on swimmers as they are neutrally buoyant. Silicone implants, which are denser than water, might even have a slight sinking effect.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in May, Cardi revealed that she underwent a second breast augmentation surgery following the birth of her 13-month-old baby girl, Kulture Kiari, whom she shares with husband Offset, 27.

“I just got my boobs redone,” she said. “I feel good, but then sometimes I feel like not, you know? [When] your skin is stretched out.”

“Yes, my daughter f—ed me up,” she joked. “She did. She so did.”

Cardi B

Last September, Cardi — who had her first breast enhancement surgery at 19 — posted a candid clip to her Instagram page explaining that she wanted to go under the knife to make her chest appear more lifted.

“I don’t give a f—. If y’all mothaf—ers see me gone in November, December I’m getting my tits done! I don’t give a f—. Matter of fact, I’m not even gonna call it surgery. I’m just gonna say a titty renovation cause I gotta renovate these s—s!” she said. “Kulture did me filthy!”

In May, Cardi confirmed that she also had liposuction after denying it for months. During her performance at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Cardi told the crowd that she did, in fact, get the plastic surgery.

“I have some news for y’all. I should have canceled today,” she said at the festival. “I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f— up my lipo. But bitch I’m still gonna get my motherf—ing money back, let’s go!”

Cardi B

Cardi went on to cancel and postpone a series of her concerts as she recovered from the surgery. To critics who said she should exercise instead of opting for surgery, Cardi said during an Instagram Live later that month, “I do whatever the f— I want with my body.”

“My job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So, no, I don’t have time to work out,” she said. “And I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out, is not going to get fixed. Like my boobs, no matter how much I work out, they’re not going to lift themselves. So yeah, I have to get f—ing surgery. That’s right. All right?”

Cardi B Reunites With Bruno Mars On New Single “Please Me”

It has been a wild week for Cardi B. The Rap Empress kicked things off on an incredible high after making history at the Grammys. During the show, she delivered a suitably eye-popping rendition of current single “Money” and served a look on the red carpet. However, her night got even better when she picked up the Grammy for Best Rap Album. The accomplishment makes her the first female rapper to win the category as a solo artist. However, shortly after delivering her (iconic) acceptance speech, people began complaining that she didn’t deserve the honor. After defending herself on Instagram, the 26-year-old disabled her account for a while to escape the hate.

However, she didn’t let the naysayers keep her down for long. Instead, she ended her “retirement” early to announce a new collaboration with fellow Grammy winner Bruno Mars. The duo linked up on last year’s retro “Finesse (Remix),” which hit the number 3 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. And it seems safe to assume that they have another massive hit on their hands with their latest – “Please Me.” Boasting production from Bruno and The Stereotypes, it’s a sensual bop. The “That’s What I Like” crooner shows off his velvety vocals on the seductive chorus. “Please me, baby. Turn around and just tease me, baby,” he pleads. Meanwhile, Cardi’s verses are as self-assured and smooth as ever.

Hopefully a video follows very soon. After the vibrant, mega-viral release that accompanied “Finesse (Remix),” I’m dying to see what they have in store this time around. In the meantime, press play on “Please Me” below!

Well that’s one way to put an end to a fight…

Cardi B has completely deleted her Instagram account after getting into a nasty social media feud with outspoken rapper Azealia Banks, who called the «Bodak Yellow» rapper a flurry of names yesterday during an interview with The Breakfast Club. In addition to deleting her IG, Cardi’s tweets are also «protected» and not available to the public.

Shortly before deleting her account, Billboard reports that Cardi wrote, «I’m from the hood. I speak how I speak I am how I am. I did not choose to be famous people choose me! People followed me on Instagram and the people gave me a platform to introduce my talent.»

The 25-year-old rapper, who is pregnant with her first child, continued, «I never asked to be a example or a role model I don’t want to change my ways because I’m famous that’s why I just mind my business. This is coming from a woman that bleached her skin but want to advocate. GOODBYE. Im not apologizing or kill myself because of who I am.»

A post shared by The Shade Room (@theshaderoom) on

On Friday, the always outspoken Banks threw called the pregnant rapper some harsh names like «illiterate, untalented rat» and «caricature of a black woman.»

«Two years ago, the conversation surrounding black women’s culture was really reaching an all-time high,» Banks told the radio show’s hosts, referring to Beyoncé’s Lemonade.

«There was just this really, really, really intelligent conversation going on nationally and then everything just kind of changed and then it was like Cardi B.»

In the interview, Banks also referred to Cardi as a «poor man’s Nicki Minaj» and accused her of having a ghostwriter for «Bodak Yellow,» the song that made her famous.

Cardi responded by posting a video of Banks dancing to the song in a club.

Prior to her deleting her social media, Cardi also responded to Azealia by writing a lengthy now-deleted post, caught by fans, in which she wrote, «The difference between you and me is that I’ve never pretended to be something I am not! I’ve made it to where I am for being myself and staying true to that.

It’s actually happening! Rita Ora casually announced that she was releasing a new single called “Girls” way back in November, 2017. The song was supposed to drop in January and feature fellow pop queens Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha. The latter even hinted at a fourth collaborator when she retweeted the news with the comment: “And maybe someone else?” It only took six months, but we finally know that Cardi B is the fourth member of the Awesome Foursome. “Girls” also has an official release date.

“I’m so happy to finally announce my new single ‘GIRLS’ feat some amazing powerful women who have inspired me so much!” Rita announced on her social media accounts. “Out 11th May.” She also shared the cover art, which finds their names spelled out on a scrabble board. This has the potential to be a long-overdue US hit for Rita and Charli. Cardi has the midas touch right now and Bebe is hotter than ever thanks to the success “Meant To Be.” On the other hand, this is all but guaranteed to be a UK #1 hit thanks to Rita and Charli’s popularity at home.

Drama? Nicki Minaj Opens Up About The Alleged Cardi B Beef

Another day, another drama. Nicki Minaj opened up about her alleged beef with Cardi B in an interview with Zane Lowe on Beats 1. The femcees have been rumored to be at war at various points since the “Bodak Yellow” rapper made chart history by nabbing the top spot on the Billboard Hot 100. Things reached a fever pitch after they hopped on Migos’ “MotorSport” together last winter. After the song dropped, the up-and-coming artist gave a less than flattering review of working with Nicki (apparently, her verse was not finished when Cardi recorded hers), which only fed the rumors.

Before premiering “Barbie Tingz” and “Chun-Li” yesterday (April 12), the 35-year-old opened up about how she felt ambushed by Cardi and Migos after the single dropped. Seeming genuinely hurt but the situation, Nicki offered some praise for the breakout rapper. However, she admitted to being offended by Cardi’s interview. “I remember when I first came in the game if a female of that stature had done a feature with me on it, I would only be singing their praises and saying thank you,” she said. She went on to explain that Quavo failed to back her up on Twitter after the fall out, and she felt that it was to feed into the brewing drama.

“It hurt my feelings to know that people would watch me be slaughtered. And not one person will step in to say the truth,” she said, claiming that it was because it was entertaining to make her seem like the “bad guy.” Things reached a fever pitch after there were scheduling conflicts while shooting the music video, further adding to the drama.

Nicki hopped on Twitter after the interview aired to drop some further clarification about the situation. “How can you say someone changed their verse & forget to say Quavo TOLD me to remove my singing part (which I loved) & Atlantic told me to remove your name from my verse per your request,” she asked. “So how were those changes gonna happen if I didn’t “change” my verse?” Cardi has yet to reply to the situation, but this could very well be the beginning of a tenuous relationship between the pair.

Although rap feuds are becoming more common by the day, it is worth noting that both Nicki and Cardi are doing very well professionally. At the time of publication, the “No Frauds” rapper has the top two spots on US iTunes with her new tracks. Meanwhile, the “Be Careful” hitmaker broke streaming records with her Invasion of Privacy LP and is expected to make a strong debut on the Billboard 200 albums chart next week. Can’t they just share the crown? Check out the Beats 1 interview and tweet below!
