Rita Ora is gearing up to ride her latest anthem to the top of the charts. The Brit teamed up with Cardi BCharli XCX and Bebe Rexha to unveil their collaborative single “Girls,” and it is a distinctly fun and flirty bop. Released today (May 11), it fulfills a promise she first made in November of 2017. After months of anticipation, the “Anywhere” siren finally announced the release date last week. And she makes up for lost time with a treat that is all but guaranteed to be a contender for the title of Song Of The Summer. Unsurprisingly, the quartet have a breezy serving of pop perfection on their hands.

“Her name is Lara, we learned a lotta. How to do it, like we do it, like we wanna. We just know, we just know. I ain’t one sided. I’m open-minded,” Rita coos over a sugary production. Bebe and Charli trade off lines on the second verse, and they all find an easy chemistry on the instantly addictive chorus. “Sometimes I just wanna kiss girls, girls, girls,” the group sings in harmony. Possessing some of the most distinctive voices in pop, it is refreshing to hear them all blending so well. Cardi’s verse is equally fun and manages to reference both Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun” and Destiny’s Child’s “Say My Name.”

Boasting one of the year’s most joyful productions and the collective might of four pop powerhouses, “Girls” is all but guaranteed to enjoy a massive run on the charts. Everything Cardi touches turns to gold, and Bebe is soaring high after the meteoric success of “Meant To Be.”Given Rita and Charli’s popularity at home, they are all but guaranteed a future #1 in the UK. Keep an eye peeled for a video, which is sure to drop soon. Based on a teaser Rita posted on Twitter, it looks like a vibrant affair. Give the bop a spin below!

It’s actually happening! Rita Ora casually announced that she was releasing a new single called “Girls” way back in November, 2017. The song was supposed to drop in January and feature fellow pop queens Charli XCX and Bebe Rexha. The latter even hinted at a fourth collaborator when she retweeted the news with the comment: “And maybe someone else?” It only took six months, but we finally know that Cardi B is the fourth member of the Awesome Foursome. “Girls” also has an official release date.

“I’m so happy to finally announce my new single ‘GIRLS’ feat some amazing powerful women who have inspired me so much!” Rita announced on her social media accounts. “Out 11th May.” She also shared the cover art, which finds their names spelled out on a scrabble board. This has the potential to be a long-overdue US hit for Rita and Charli. Cardi has the midas touch right now and Bebe is hotter than ever thanks to the success “Meant To Be.” On the other hand, this is all but guaranteed to be a UK #1 hit thanks to Rita and Charli’s popularity at home.

Bebe Rexha Delivers Perfection With “Ferrari” & “2 Souls On Fire”

Bebe Rexha is kicking off the weekend by offering up a taste of her debut LP Expectations. Earlier this week she rolled out the striking black-and-white cover photo and announced that the project would be up for pre-sale today (April 13). She celebrated the news with the release of a pair of buzz tracks: “Ferrari” and the Quavo-assisted “2 Souls On Fire.” True to form, both of the songs put a new spin on pop and are complimented by the 28-year-old’s distinctive voice.

Boasting a stadium rock-inspired production, “Ferrari” is a nostalgia-inducing track with a seriously anthemic chorus. “Can we start to slow it down? Can we learn to live right now? I just want to feel it all,” she coos over a sparse beat before things build up underneath. “I’m a Ferrari and after the party is done I keep on going. Missing the moments, living in the fast lane is getting kind of lonely,” she laments. Considering its earnest lyricism and impressive performance, it is easy to imagine the track finding a home on the charts.

The same could be said of “2 Souls On Fire.” Instead of relying on the Migos rapper for a serving of generic trap-pop, Bebe falls back on her alternative roots for their collaboration. The pair trade off lines on the romantic midtempo, which makes for a true duet instead of just calling in a featured verse. “Desire, two souls on fire,” the “In The Name Of Love” hitmaker belts. Her voice is particularly compelling on the track, and she shows it off to perfect effect. Of the two, this may be an even more obvious hit.

2018 has already been kind to the superstar. As it stands, Bebe is sitting pretty at the number 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 with her Florida Georgia Line-assisted “Meant To Be.” Last week she rolled out an acoustic version of the Americana-inspired anthem that will likely extend her reign on the charts. With any luck, she will be able to best Drake’s chart-dominating “God’s Plan” and claim the top spot next week. Considering her track record of pristine hits, it would be a well-deserved accomplishment before Expectations arrives. The LP has an expected release date of June 22, so she has plenty of time. Give the tracks a listen below and pre-order the album here!

Bebe Rexha Unveils An Acoustic Version Of “Meant To Be”

Bebe Rexha dominated the country and pop charts with her Florida Georgia Line-assisted “Meant To Be.” The Americana-flavored bop made her the first woman to debut at the top spot on the Hot Country Songs chart back in December, and it is still sitting pretty at the number 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. But today (April 6), she is breathing new life into the anthem and showcasing her versatility with a solo, acoustic reworking. On it she strips back some of the production and showcases her distinctive voice over simple strings. It is an unsurprisingly strong performance that makes for easy listening.

2018 is off to a strong start for Bebe. The “I Got You” hitmaker continues to pop up on unexpected collaborations. Most recently she hopped on Ne-Yo’s latest hit “Push Back” with Stefflon Don. The dance hall-inspired cut is guaranteed to be one of the most-requested bops at clubs across the globe and highlights each of the artists’ strong suits. Before “Push Back” can take its turn on the charts though, the “Me, Myself & I” siren may top the charts with “Meant To Be.” The single is sitting at the top spot on US iTunes and is racking up serious streams on radio and other services. Her acoustic reworking may be the push she needs to take things to the next level. Give the reimagined track a listen up top!

Bebe Rexha Is The First Woman To Debut At #1 On Hot Country Songs Chart

Bebe Rexha caught lighting in a bottle with “Meant To Be.” A collaboration with country duo Florida Georgia Line, the perky track wasn’t originally scheduled to be a single from the pop star’s All Your Fault: Pt. 2 EP. But the song soon took on a life of its own, wreaking havoc on iTunes and Spotify with little promotion. Since being officially rolled out, “Meant To Be” has continued to soar in popularity — cracking the top 40 of the Billboard Hot 100 and making a little history along the way.

The “I Got You” hitmaker becomes the first female artist to debut at number one on the Hot Country Songs Chart. “Who would of thought a girl from New York City would earn a spot in the history books,” Bebe commented on Instagram. “Truly blessed.” The 28-year-old is turning out to be the queen of the unexpected collaboration, also landing hits with Louis Tomlinson duet “Back To You” and Bright anthem “Home,” which features Machine Gun Kelly and X Ambassadors.

Bebe Rexha Teams Up With Machine Gun Kelly & X Ambassadors On “Home”

From hip-hop features to club bangers and a country anthem, Bebe Rexha has repeatedly proved that she can do anything. The “I Got You” hitmaker underlines that by somehow being the glue that keeps Machine Gun Kellyand X Ambassadors’ “Home” together. The collaboration is the latest cut from Bright: The Album, the star-studded soundtrack to the much-hyped Nextflix original. And like the other songs to emerge (Bastille’s “World Gone Mad” and Ty Dolla $ignFuture & Kiiara’s“Darkside”), it’s pitch black.

“I found no cure for the loneliness, I found no cure for the sickness,” Bebe sings with X Ambassadors frontman Sam Harris. “Nothing here feels like home.” That sentiment is elaborated on in MGK’s emo’s verses and the anthemic chorus. “Home — a place where I can go to take this off my shoulders, someone take me home.” Time will tell if Bright is a good movie or a complete turkey like Suicide Squad, but director David Ayer sure knows how to curate a soundtrack. Listen to “Home” below.

Bastille, Bebe Rexha & Camila Cabello Feature On ‘Bright: The Album’

Bright is Netflix’s first attempt to deliver what would traditionally be a box office blockbuster straight to subscribers. The big-budget buddy cop film, which was directed by David Ayer, partners Will Smith with an orc. That’s enough to get me to watch, but if you need another reason, the soundtrack (due December 13 via Atlantic Records) looks incredible. Bastille contribute the moody lead single, “World Gone Mad,” while Ty Dolla $ignFuture and Kiiara join forces for buzz track “Darkside.” Both are available now.

The rest of the tracklist is full of surprises. Bebe Rexha teams up with Machine Gun Kelly and X Ambassadors for “Home,” Camila Cabello lends her voice to Grey’s“Crown” and DRAM and Neil Young (!!) unite for “Campfire.” Other featured artists include LogicMigosMarshmelloMeek MillPortugal. The ManSam Huntand Rag’n’Bone Man. Check out the full tracklist below and watch Bastille’s “World Gone Mad” video as well as a trailer for Bright (streaming from December 22) at the bottom of the post.

Bright: The Album tracklist:

Louis Tomlinson Drops ‘Back To You’ Featuring Bebe Rexha

Louis Tomlinson takes another stride forward in his post-One Direction solo career with “Back To You,” featuring Bebe Rexha and Digital Farm Animals.

The urban-textured track, co-written by Tomlinson and produced by Digital Farm Animals and The Dream Life, is the first single lifted from his upcoming debut solo album which is currently scheduled for release later this year.

The British pop singer will give the new song a big push with U.K. and U.S. promo visits in the coming days and “several high profile TV performances” will be announced shortly, according to Sony Music, which released the single overnight.

It’s the followup to Tomlinson’s collaboration with Steve Aoki on “Just Hold On,” which dropped last December and peaked at No. 2 in the U.K. and No. 52 in the U.S.

Louis Tomlinson & Bebe Rexha Announce Duet “Back To You”

It’s official! Louis Tomlinson and Bebe Rexha are releasing a collaboration called “Back To You.” She confirmed the track on Instagram this morning (June 24) by posting a picture of the duo together. The song may or may not be produced by Digital Farm Animals (he is tagged in the post) and is expected to arrive very soon. Interestingly, Bebe already let the cat out of the bag during a TV interview in March. “I’m releasing the second part [of debut LP All Your Fault] in April and I have some really cool features and exciting things happening,” the pop star revealed.

“[There’s] a new song that I just finished with a very big… somebody really big from a boy band,” Bebe continued. “It’s a really massive record. We just finished it and it’s about to come out in a month or so.” Well, three months have passed since then, so we’re about due. Her final word? “It’s amazing. It’s probably one of my favorite songs that I’ve ever been a part of in my whole career.” I believe this will technically count as Louis’ debut solo single after featuring on Steve Aoki’s “Just Hold On” in 2016. See Bebe’s post below.
