Ariana Grande Drops Live Vevo Performance Of ‘My Hair’ | Watch

Ariana Grande has released another video in her ongoing series with VEVO. Today, she has revealed a stirring performance of “my hair” from her 2020 smash, Positions.

Says VEVO regarding the performance: “If our Official Live Performances of ‘pov’ and ‘safety net’ reveal anything, it’s that Ariana Grande excels at her job because she’s so passionate about the results. You don’t hit the high notes, you don’t exude candor, and you don’t make pop music as moving as she does without crossing the T’s and dotting the I’s. A very cool Cali session with the look and feel of a cozy little meadow was a perfect place to turn some of the best tunes on Positions into utterly memorable performances. Go Team Ari. This spin on ‘pov’ has a jazzy feel, amplifying the breezy vibe that was established on Positions. Makes sense, Ari’s vocals dart and flash like a nightclub saxophonist improvising through a tune. Hang tight, there are three more coming…”

Ariana has been everywhere of late, promoting the fifth anniversary of Dangerous Woman in addition to revealing these unique VEVO sessions. For the anniversary of the project, the multi-platinum third album from Ariana Grande, Republic Records/UMe released two bonus tracks, previously only available on the Target exclusive version of the album.

Initially released on May 20, 2016, the Grammy-nominated Dangerous Woman solidified Ariana Grande’s superstardom as Rolling Stone described her as, one who is “capable of practically anything.”

With the critically acclaimed album, Grande boldly defied expectation and revealed the full force of her voice (hailed as an “extraordinary, versatile, limitless instrument‚” upon Grande’s appearance on Time’s “100 Most Influential People” list).

The Dangerous Woman era started with the promotional single “Focus,” which was in October 2015. While “Focus” featured the same upbeat, horn-driven energy of Grande’s 2014 smash hit “Problem,” it also teed up the album’s first official single, as Grande coquettishly instructed listeners to “focus on me.”

Mariah Carey announces new Christmas album and TV special featuring star studded guests

Mariah Carey has announced plans for a new Christmas album and TV special next month.

The show, which will premiere on AppleTV+ on December 4, will include musical performances and guest appearances from Ariana Grande, Jennifer Hudson and Snoop Dogg.

The special will also be accompanied by a soundtrack featuring a new version of Carey’s ‘Oh Santa!’ with Grande and Hudson. She hinted that the team up was on the cards last month.

Last year her classic Christmas single ‘All I Want for Christmas Is You’, went to Number One on the Billboard Hot 100 for the first time, 25 years after its release.
Earlier this month, a music fan shared a yuletide mash-up of Metallica with Mariah Carey blending the instrumental of ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ with James Hetfield’s riffs and vocals from ‘For Whom The Bell Tolls’.

Carey also recently revealed that she worked on an alternative rock album back in 1995 before the project was shelved.

Earlier this week, the singer shared a previously unreleased video for her 1995 song ‘Underneath The Stars’.

Taken from her fifth album, ‘Daydream’, the long-lost clip is the latest instalment of the pop star’s year-long #MC30 celebration.

Shot during her ‘Daydream’ promo run, the video for ‘Underneath The Stars’ features behind-the-scenes tour footage, audience clips and shots of Carey singing the track.

Back in 2012, Carey tweeted that a video was made for the song, but said she didn’t know what happened to it. “Little-known fact, I actually shot a video 4 ‘Underneath the Stars’ in France & England that never got released & I don’t know where it is!” she said at the time.

Everything We Know About Ariana Grande’s ‘Positions’ Album

Get in position, Arianators, because Ariana Grande is just days away from the release of her upcoming sixth album, Positions!

After weeks of teasing, fans will soon have their hands on the pop star’s first album in more than a year and a half — and her first big release since K Bye for Now (SWT Live) after wrapping her massive Sweetener World Tour in Dec. 2019.

«This project is my favorite for many reasons and i really can’t wait for it to be yours. thank u for your love and excitement, it means the world to me,» she tweeted on Saturday (Oct. 24) while sharing the album’s 13-song track listing in the lead-up to its release.

The album’s lead single

Ahead of the long-awaited full-length’s release, Grande surprised the world with lead single (and title track) «Positions,» a smitten love song about, ahem, her flexibility in making a new relationship work. Hours later, she also dropped the track’s White House-set music video, which reimagines what life would be like with Ariana as commander in chief and features cameos by the likes of Tayla Parx, Victoria Monet, Nija Charles and the pop star’s beloved mother, Joan Grande.

The release date

Ariana isn’t wasting any time! Just one week after unleashing the innuendo-laden title track and its presidential music video on the world, the superstar is set to drop Positions on Friday, (Oct. 30). The album will be the pop star’s first full-length studio set since 2019’s Thank U, Next. Since then, she’s released a live album of her 2019 Sweetener World Tour, K Bye For Now (SWT Live), as well as high-profile collaborations with Justin Bieber («Stuck With U»), Lady Gaga («Rain On Me») and more.

The collaborators

Ari is no stranger to teaming up with her other artists, though she hasn’t included any guest features on an album since 2018’s Sweetener, where the likes of Nicki Minaj, Missy Elliott and Pharrell Williams all made appearances.

Unveiling the Positions track list on Oct. 24, the big-voiced pop star revealed she’ll be teaming up with both Doja Cat («Motive») and Ty Dolla $ign («Safety Net») among the LP’s 13 tracks, as well as collaborating once again with The Weeknd («Off the Table») for their second duet following Dangerous Woman-era smash single «Love Me Harder.»

The three (slightly) different album covers

Arianators dying to get their hands on a physical copy of the new album will three separate covers to choose from, with each featuring glam ’60s-inspired portraits of the pop star. «I’ve been so excited to show u these !!! three (slightly) different versions of the physical albums are now available to preorder on my website,» Ari wrote on Oct. 26 to share a look at the cover art for the CD versions of Positions.

In each close-up, she’s photographed from the left, alternately glancing to the right, gazing over her shoulder and framing her face with her hands. No word yet on which visual will make the cut as the album’s digital — or official — cover art.

Ariana Grande’s New BF Revealed As They Quarantine Together After Her Mikey Foster Split

Ariana Grande has a new man in her life, and they’re already inseparable — because they’re quarantining together during the coronavirus pandemic! Fans noticed that there was a mystery man in several of Ariana’s quarantine Instagram Story videos, including one where the guy in question was petting her dog. The singer was careful to never reveal the guy’s face, but TMZ reports that he IS her boyfriend, and they’ve revealed his identity as Dalton Gomez.

Dalton is a real estate agent in Los Angeles, according to TMZ. The site reports that he handles mutli-million-dollar listings and that he and Ariana have been seeing each other for “several months.” Back in February, Ariana was photographed kissing a mystery man while hanging out at a bar in California, and TMZ says that Dalton is that guy. Interestingly, just days before that PDA session, Ariana was photographed holding hands with her ex, Mikey Foster, in Disneyland, so the timeline is a bit confusing.

However, as HollywoodLife EXCLUSIVELY confirmed, Ariana and Mikey were officially broken up by the beginning of March, which means that Ariana’s been devoting her full attention to Dalton. “[Ariana and Mikey] were just enjoying their chemistry,” our source explained. “It ended up not being what they had thought would happen, and they are totally cool with it.”

Ariana follows Dalton on Instagram, and he has been seen in social media photos with another big star, Miley Cyrus. He may not be IN the Hollywood scene, but he definitely appears to roll with the same kind of crowd as Ariana does!
