Katy Perry Proves She’s the Ultimate ‘Pop’ Star With Playful KP5 Album Cover Reveal

Katy Perry performs onstage with Zedd at Coachella Stage during the 2019 Coachella Valley Music And Arts Festival on April 14, 2019 in Indio, Calif.
Katy Perry decided to clown around a bit with the cover reveal of her fifth album on Wednesday (July 8). The singer challenged fans to help her «find my smile» by playing a game in which they had to tweet to pop virtual balloons in order to uncover the title of the record due out on Aug. 14. Industrious and thirsty for the image, KatyCats quickly revealed the instantly iconic picture of KP as a glum clown with a red nose and a blue and white checkered suit above the title, Smile.
So far, Perry has released a handful of songs that could appear on the album, including «Never Worn White,» «Daisies» and has mentioned the tracks «Teary Eyes» and «What Makes a Woman» in interviews.
