The Weeknd said «THE DAWN IS ALMOST DONE»

ADELE IS ALREADY BACK

Adele shared a teaser for her new single “Easy on Me” ahead of the release of her upcoming fourth album. In a monochrome clip shared on Twitter on Tuesday afternoon (October 5), the singer is seen in a car driving down a country road while a piano plays softly in the background. It has been announced that the song will be out on October 15. Earlier in the week, fans speculated that a new ad was on the way after the artist’s website and social media accounts were updated and the number «30» began to appear in prominent places. The new album is rumored to be titled 30, after 19, 21 and 25.

Lil nas X has already given birth to the album Montero.

LIL NAS X’S DEBUT ALBUM ALREADY HAS A RELEASE DATE

0

Teasing his debut album, Lil Nas X has released a Marvel-inspired trailer to tide over fans hungry for new music.

Similar to how Marvel’s opening sequence takes audiences through the universe’s robust arsenal of superheroes, Tuesday’s teaser trailer displays the many iterations of Lil Nas X (born Montero Lamar Hill), from western cowboy to sultry Santa to a redhead sliding down a pole to hell.

In the classic Marvel font, the trailer ends with, “MONTERO, THE ALBUM, coming soon.” Playing in the background is a rumored snippet of the highly anticipated track “Industry Baby,” produced by songwriting duo Take a Daytrip.

In case you haven’t noticed by now, there is a consistent «man in nature» vibe to a number of the videos from Justin Bieber‘s Changes album. And while most of them star JB himself frolicking or moping in the snowy outdoors, his latest clip for the ballad «At Least For Now» turns the screen over to dancer/choreographer Sean Lew, who relates an epic struggle of man vs. nature.

In the clip, Lew is seen atop a snowy mountaintop, where it becomes clear that he’s tied to a huge log as he pulls off an impressive routine while literally being restrained in the understated, but intense Nick DeMoura-directed clip.

«I’ m still in awe of how i’m a part of this series that are filled with some of the greatest movers and minds in the entire world,» Lew wrote on Instagram. «When i was called to do this song, i spent months trying to figure out a concept and story. me and nick literally went back and forth for weeks and it all came down to stripping it all down and going for something simplistic and meaningful.

«I personally spent hours and hours writing 14 different versions of a written narrative that would best fit this song. hearing this song, it all came down to his words and that was my guide to what i wanted to represent in this video. the feeling of almost getting what we desire for so long, the key to unlock our limitations. However, you realize that sometimes we have to hold back and just accept our restrictions because it’s what’s for the best at the moment. the whole world is dealing with one of the craziest challenges we’ve ever encountered, but i truly believe that we will get through this and we just have to accept the restraints that are being given upon us.»

With everyone locked down during the COVID-19 pandemic, Bieber has spent his home time with a new chat show, Live With Biebs. On Sunday he invited KehlaniLil Pump, Kendall Jenner and other pals over for an hour-long edition.

Justin Timberlake, Anderson .Paak Party at Anna Kendrick’s House in ‘Don’t Slack’ Video

0

Justin Timberlake and Anderson .Paak — and their respective characters in Trolls: World Tour —cheer up a housebound Anna Kendrick in the new video for “Don’t Slack.”

Although the video itself was filmed in February, it parallels our current quarantined and self-isolated situation, with a sullen Kendrick (who also voices a character in the animated film) slowly brightened up by the two singers who have invaded every inch of her household.

“Don’t Slack” follows Timberlake and SZA’s “The Other Side.”  Like the original 2016 film, Timberlake served as the executive music producer on the Trolls World Tour soundtrack, which also features songs from George Clinton, Mary J. Blige, Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley, Haim and more.

The film itself was originally due out in theaters on April 10th, but — due to the COVID-19 pandemic — will instead premiere on video-on-demand on that date.

Lady Gaga Went on ‘Fallon’ to Make a Major Announcement, But it Didn’t Quite Go as Planned

Jimmy Fallon and Lady Gaga on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Lady Gaga called in to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Wednesday (April 1) for what host Jimmy Fallon promised was a major announcement, but things didn’t go exactly as planned.

As soon as the FaceTime call connected, the pop star seemed confused, apologizing profusely that she couldn’t reveal her news just yet. «I can’t, Jimmy,» Gaga said. «I can’t talk right now. I’m really sorry. It’s just, like, a really weird time right no. Hello? Jimmy? I can’t see you? Am I on TV?»

Promising the big news was «for COVID-19,» a flustered Gaga explained that she simply didn’t have all her proverbial ducks in a row to make the announcement quite yet. «I can’t, I can’t, I can’t tell you everything right now because I’m still ironing out the details and I have a lot of phone calls to make,» she said.

The late night host took the unexpected left turn in stride, only to be quickly interrupted by Mother Monster seemingly receiving a phone call from someone on her team. When Fallon asked if calling back in 10 minutes would be better for the star, Gaga hit him with a proposed date a bit further out. «Can you call me on, um, can you call me Friday?» she asked, leading the host to respond, «Can I call you on Friday? It’s uh, yeah. It’s Wednesday.»

The scheduling conflict didn’t stop there though. Just a few minutes later, Gaga called back, wearing a new pair of upside-down glasses and appearing even more distressed. «Hello, I’m sorry,» she said before pushing the reveal back even further. «Can we just move our time? Yeah, can we do it Monday. I promise we’ll do it Monday.»

Whatever the superstar has in the works, it looks like Little Monster will be waiting at least through the weekend to find out what she has up her sleeve…

Khalid Teams Up With Dance Crew in Joyful ‘Know Your Worth’ Video

0

Khalid touts the virtues of refusing to settle for less in “Know Your Worth,” his collaboration with British DJ-production duo Disclosure. In the new video, the singer teams up with a dance crew, whose joyful choreography peppers the clip.

In the Daniel Russel-directed visual, Khalid delivers the uplifting track’s words of encouragement as he performs on a dimly lit stage. Dancers dressed in colorful garb reenact the sentiments of the soothing lyrics, which address abandoning bad relationships and moving toward supportive ones. “You don’t know your worth/All the things I know that you deserve,” he sings on the chorus. “Say it’s not real if it doesn’t hurt/Find someone you know will put you first/Find someone who loves you at your worst.”

“Know Your Worth” is the Texas singer’s second collaboration with Disclosure, following their 2019 hit, “Talk,” off Khalid’s sophomore album, 2019’s Free Spirit, which arrived last April. In October, he teamed up with Major Lazer for a new song, “Trigger.” The R&B artist also recently unveiled his solo tracks, “Up All Night” and “Eleven.”

Selena Gomez Shares ‘Dance Again’ Clip, Announces New Merch Supporting MusiCares

0

Selena Gomez has released the music video for her Rare song “Dance Again.” The clip shows Gomez decked out in a Seventies-style wardrobe, dancing alone onstage to the disco-fueled track.

To accompany the video, the singer also announced a new line of “Dance Again”-themed merch, with a portion of the proceeds going toward the MusiCares foundation. In the past few weeks, MusiCares has established a COVID-19 Relief Fund to assist musicians and artists affected by the ongoing coronavirus pandemic; the crisis has decimated the live music industry and cut off many artists from their main source of income.

Gomez released Rare, her third solo album, back in January. Along with “Dance Again,” the LP features the songs “Lose You to Love Me,” “Look at Her Now,” “Feel Me” and the title track. The album is a personal one for Gomez, as she wrote the lead single, “Lose You to Love Me,” with collaborator Julia Michaels after returning from a treatment center.

“When I walked in [the studio], it was literally just the piano and the chorus and a bit of the first verse and I just sat there,” Gomez told Zane Lowe. “And I tell people this, too, because it was also such a very raw moment. A, I had just gotten back, but B, we were in the bright daylight, and that’s not normally how you’re maybe talking about something like that.”
