If You Wanna Believe That Anything Could Stop Dua Lipa, Don’t Watch Her Host Jimmy Kimmel Live!

0

If you don’t want to see Dua Lipa deliver her first late-night monologue, don’t stay up, don’t sit down, don’t start caring about Kimmel now. The singer is the latest celeb to guest host Jimmy Kimmel Live! during Kimmel’s summer vacation and, well, for her first hosting gig, she handled it like a pro. “You know that song your kid listened to, like, 5,000 times trying to perfect a dance on TikTok?,” she asks viewers at home. “That was me. You’re welcome. And I’m sorry. Jimmy and I actually just switched jobs for the night. Right now, I’m here, and he’s performing for thousands of people at a dance hall in Berlin, in a very tight tank top.”

In addition to interviewing her pop predecessor Gwen Stefani later in the evening, Lipa also allowed herself to get lightly roasted by a cadre of elderly music fans responding to her music and looks directly to her face. “That’s terrible,” one woman muses over a yellow tartan crop top. “If I had a daughter, I wouldn’t want her to go out in that.” Said another reviewer, “It looks like she’s trying too hard.” When it comes to hosting late-night TV, however, she’s kind of trying the perfect amount.

Justin Bieber is seen on March 13, 2020 in Los Angeles.

Some days lately a dance challenge is about the best you can hope for. It’s a great way to get the family together, and it’s just good, clean fun. Justin Bieber got into the act this weekend, reposting a TikTok video from his step sister Allie Rebelo, in which he, wife Hailey Baldwin, Allie, Jazmyn Bieber and Justin’s youngest sister, Bay, 1, take a shot at Drake’s «Toosie Slide.»

Wearing a yellow hoodie and matching sweats, Bieber left foot slides, right foot slides and then moonwalks out of the video.

JB also reposted a video in which he joins Allie and Jazmyn for the «Come Around Me» challenge, busting some enthusiastic arm movements while Hailey just walks through the frame.

Most Popular TikTok Songs: Every Viral TikTok Dance Challenge Song Of 2020

Every viral TikTok song of 2020

What song is used in your favourite TikTok? Here’s all of the most popular songs that have gone viral on TikTok in 2020, from Doja Cat’s ‘Say So’ dance challenge to Roddy Ricch’s ‘The Box’.

We love TikTok… but there’s just one issue. Often it’s near enough impossible to work out the name of *that* song being used in the latest viral TikTok trend.

So we’ve done the hard work for you and pulled together a list of all the most popular songs being used on TikTok right now – that’s all of the songs from the biggest viral TikTok dances and challenges all on one page. Neat.

Maggie Lindemann – Pretty Girl (Paul Gannon Remix)

«I can swear, I can joke, I say what’s on my mind»

OK, the stair shuffle dance challenge has been around for a while but it’s been brought back to everyone’s attention in 2020.

You might have seen Little Mix’s Perrie Edwards and her Liverpool and England footballer boyfriend Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain absolutely nailing this challenge as they were stuck indoors self-isolating.

The song might be familiar: ‘Pretty Girl’ was a huge hit for American singer Maggie Lindemann back in 2017 and it’s Paul Gannon remix that’s soundtracking this particular TikTok trend.

Handsome Dancer – Coincidance

«Wow, you can really dance»

It’s one of the most popular trends on TikToks, where two people showcase their dance moves whilst miming to this song.

The hook used for the TikTok trend is: «Wow, you can really dance, Wow, you can really dance, He went, He went *thud*, They said ’we’ve both been dancing all this time, What a coincidance.»

The original song isn’t actually a serious one – ‘Coincidance’ is a comedy track created by James Manzello – and there’s actually a pretty funny music video to go along with the full record.

Lil Kleine & Ronnie Flex – Drank & Drugs

This is one of those hugely popular TikTok trends that’s, er, sort of lacking a proper name! But you know the one – you stick your arms up and down and then ‘do the woah’ or something at the end?

Well, that song is actually a record by Dutch rappers Lil Kleine and Ronnie Flex, which went to Number 1 in the Netherlands way back in 2015 and has now become a TikTok hit.

The lyrics to the hook being used for the TikTok challenge are actually pretty random when you translate them from Dutch to English… we wonder if people have any idea what they’re dancing to….

BENEE – Supalonely ft. Gus Dapperton

«I know I f****d up, I’m just a loser»

You might have seen a load of famous faces dancing along to this catchy song from New Zealand singer BENEE.

Charli D’Amelio is one of the big names that helped kickstart the craze. The moves to the ‘Supalonely’ dance are fairly straight forward – it’s basically just mimicking the lyrics with your hands… easy enough, right?

Madison Beer also posted a video of her vibing to the song on her TikTok and it’s racked up over 20 million views so far.

Drake – Nonstop

«I just flipped the switch»

So this one involves two people standing in front of a mirror. The person in front does the filming and the person stood slightly behind is usually dancing away to the song.

Then when Drake says «I just flipped the switch» the video cuts and now the two people have switched positions (and often clothes) and are doing the reverse of what they were before.

Sure, we’ve probably badly explained that… but just check out the video below and you’ll get the idea soon enough.

Y2K & Bbno$ – Lalala (ilkan Gunuc Remix)

«When I popped off, then your girl gave me just a little bit of lockjaw»

This is one of the hardest viral TikTok challenges out there and loads of celebrities have been trying to master it.

Basically, you have to try and quickly replicate a series of hand emojis on the screen, in time with the beat of the song. So that’s the OK symbol, the fist, the peace symbol… all the ones you’d find in your regular emoji keyboard.

Jonas Brothers are among the big names who’ve given it a go and, you know what, they nailed it…

Doja Cat – Say So

«Day to night to morning, keep with me in the moment»

You’ll definitely know this song from American singer and rapper Doja Cat – it’s one of the biggest of 2020 so far!

Now this is seriously cool – the ‘Say So’ dance challenge was created by TikToker Haley Sharp, who has since amassed 1.3 million followers and then went on to star in Doja Cat’s official music video as a result!

James Charles and Charli D’Amelio are among the other big names that have given the dance a go on the app.

Roddy Ricch – The Box

«Pullin’ out the coupe at the lot, told ‘em «f*** 12, f*** SWAT»»

Roddy Ricch’s ‘The Box’ has been one of the biggest global hits of 2020 to-date – the track went to Number 1 in the US and the videos have clocked up hundreds of millions of views on YouTube.

So it’s not too surprising that ‘The Box’ has performed well on TikTok too. One of the biggest trends using the song is people mimicking the song’s intro with household items.

Take a look at the video below and you’ll get the a sense of the ‘inspiration’ behind the track…

K Camp – Lottery (Renegade)

«Wait, (renegade), go, go, go, go»

TikToker Jalaiah Harmon is the creator of the ‘Renegade challenge’, which started to take off in September last year.

Charli D’Amelio, Lizzo and Millie Bobby Brown are just some of the celebrities who have taken on the challenge but Jalaiah wasn’t really getting the recognition that she deserved for coming up with it in the first place.

However, that all changed when Jalaiah got to perform the dance at an NBA All Star game in America and Michelle Obama herself tweeted about it, writing: «Jalaiah, you crushed it—love seeing your talent shine!»

Kesha – Cannibal

«And for dessert, I’ll suck your teeth»

Kesha’s 2010 track ‘Cannibal’ is now ten years old but that’s not stopped it being huge on TikTok in this decade.

TikToker Briana Hantsch choreographed a cool routine to the hook of the track, which includes the lines: «Your little heart goes pitter-patter, I want your liver on a platter, use your finger to stir my tea, and for dessert I’ll suck your teeth.»

Kesha herself has even given the dance a go, teaming up with the queen of TikTok Charli D’Amelio on a duet video.

From Elephants Falling Out Of the Sky to Drones Attacking, the 10 Wildest Moments in Camila Cabello’s ‘Liar’ Video

0

vid must be embedded

Camila Cabello has proven, once again, that she is a music video queen. The «Havana» singer unveiled her amazingly dramatic «Liar» video Thursday (Sept. 12), and it’s another cinematic masterpiece.

The 6-minute clip — directed by Dave Meyers, who also directed the steamy «Señorita» video with Cabello and Shawn Mendes — features Cabello in the middle of a love triangle between billionaire (and total jerk) Reese Kensington and an adoring restaurant bus boy. Cabello’s acting skills shine, as she also portrays a hilariously fiesty Latina talk show host named La Flaca, but it’s the wacky bits of the video that make «Liar» truly great.

When Camila starts choking

By now it’s no secret that Camila Cabello is a great actress, but her fake choking may be her most convincing act yet. As she tries to tell Reese she loves the necklace he gave her (which she clearly doesn’t mean), she begins to choke, and it’s pretty darn believeable — she even turns bright red at one point. Though Camila’s pale near-death face is clearly just makeup, her choking sounds were spot-on.

When Camila and Reese have a high-speed goose chase

Upon waking up next to Reese with the bus boy’s love note in hand, Camila knows she needs to get out of the room quickly. As she speeds through the house, Reese wakes up to find her not there, and goes on a hunt to find her — and thanks to the scene’s high-speed visual effects, it’s quite a rush.

When everything becomes the truth

After Camila admits she hates the swanky restaurant and just wants a cheesburger (relatable, really), everything around her begins to live its truth the way she did. Dead roses come back into bloom; a waiter reveals that the food at the fancy establishment is only 10% natural (not 100%); two men on dates with women begin to make out; a balding guy removes his toupee; a man unveils his sleeve tattoo to his mom; and another waiter reveals he’s a breakdancer — all in a matter of 10 seconds.

When Camila gets squashed by an elephant

Okay, not really. But when Camila initially tells Reese off, she’s met with the first of a few resulting misfortunes — the first in the shape of a massive elephant falling out of the sky. Common occurrence.

When a hoard of bicyclists have a pile-up crash

Another one of Camila’s post-truth disasters involves a pack of cyclists who have a domino-effect crash after she walks into the middle of the street. She even avoided the elephant this time, dang it!

When the drones attack

What’s scarier than a swarm of buzzing bees? Thousands of buzzing drones, apparently. Her third and final truth-telling calamity is in the form of drones, which may be the most horrifying tragedy of them all.

When she sets the mansion ablaze (and barely escapes)

Though Camila has a burning desire to open the note the bus boy gave her, she seems to think that actually burning it is the best way to fight the urge. Of course, it backfires — literally — and suddenly Reese’s massive home goes up in flames. Luckily, she makes it out, but not without some seriously frizzed hair.

When Reese discovers a dildo in Camila’s her purse

After Camila set fire to the mansion, Reese puts her through a lie detector test. He first pulls out the necklace that she has yet to wear, which pains him enough. But once he pulls out a dildo, then he’s just offended. Camila, you go, girl.

When a little birdie brings Camila joy

As if there haven’t been a ton of did-that-really-happen moments already, an animated bird flies into Camila’s room once her «Liar» nightmare ends. Though the bluebird is quite adorable, it’s just another part that makes you wonder if you need to get your eyes checked.

When La Flaca says Camila isn’t that pretty

Camila’s anchor girl alter ego delivers the tea that Camila left a billionaire for a bus boy, and more hilarity ensues between La Flaca and her co-anchors, Gordita and Tammy. But after a handful of lighthearted jabs, La Flaca says, «She’s not really that pretty, is she?» then proceeds to call Camila a 7, to which Gordita says «she’s like a 5.» There’s plenty of outlandish things in the «Liar» video, but c’mon — Camila is a 10!

Lady Gaga Says Her Haus Laboratories Makeup Line Is For ‘All Gender Identities’

0

Throughout her decade-long career, Lady Gaga has always made it a point to uplift and support the LGBTQ community. According to her, that trend shows no signs of stopping — even as she focuses on her new makeup line.

In a new cover story for Allure, Gaga spoke about the creation and rollout of Haus Laboratories, her new beauty brand, and how she doesn’t want to limit her line to the confines of the gender binary. “I would like all gender identities to know very clearly that they are included, and never exploited, ever,” she said.

The star further explored a hypothetical scenario in which a young customer came to their parents with a desire to wear makeup. «I want that little boy at home that might like to be called a girl to say, ‘Mommy, I want to wear Dynasty. It’s a Glam Attack,’» she said. «And then Mommy goes, ‘Oh, my son wants to be called a girl, and he wants the Glam Attack.’ And then she goes and she gets it for him. And he uses it. And then there’s a bond.»

Gaga added that she wants the parallels drawn between her music career and her new beauty line to clearly show her passion and support for the LGBTQ community, citing kids using her public image as a diving off point for coming out. «I have heard those stories so many times, over and over, for all of the years that I have been in this business. And I want the same thing…to happen with this company. If I’m not changing people’s lives, what are we doing here?”

Watch Billie Eilish Sing Miley Cyrus, P!nk, Justin Bieber & Radiohead Hits in ‘Song Association’ Challenge

0

do not reuse this elle magazine still

Billie can’t think of a single song with the word «dance» in it.

Billie Eilish looks fierce on the cover of Elle magazine’s October Women in Music issue, flawlessly pulling off one of her signature blank stares while holding up long green fingernails that match the stripe in the middle of her hair.  Inside, she talks about her style, the world’s strange obsession with how she dresses and thoughts of possibly changing up her look when she turns 18. «I’m gonna be a woman. I wanna show off my body. What if I wanna make a video where I wanna look desirable?» she says.

But most importantly, she slips into her favorite red sleeping bag to play a game of «Song Association» in which she has 10 seconds to think of and sing a lyric featuring a key word. Spoiler alert: things do not get off to a great start when she, literally, cannot think of a single song with the word «dance» in it. «Wow, dance is in every song, I can’t even think of one,» she says, shaking her head. «Why am I thinking of ‘Livin’ on a Prayer?'»

She quickly recovers, though, stumbling through The Weeknd’s «Worth It» when prompted with the word «perfect.» The next one is a slam dunk, as «Lovely» happens to be the title of one of her 2017 collab with Khalid. «Party» is not hard, though Eilish admits she used to sing «Farty in the U.S.A.» whenever she thought of the flatulence-free Miley Cyrus smash.

From there it’s a run through Big Sean and Kash Doll’s «So Good» for «good,» a spirited take on «queen» P!nk‘s «So What» for «rockstar,» a soulful stab at H.E.R.’s «Gone Away» for «gone,» and, of course, her own «Ocean Eyes» for «ocean.» She dips into some Justin Bieber and Nicki Minaj’s «Beauty and the Beat» for «beauty,» a loving tribute to Avril Lavigne’s «Complicated» for, duh, «complicated,» a jazzy «Creep» by Radiohead for «when» and her own «My Strange Addiction» for «strange.»

She also claps through Pharrell’s «Happy» («happy»), Clairo’s «Pretty Girl» («Polaroid) and ends with a scatting run through her «Bad Guy» («bad»).

The Jonas Brothers Go Back to the ’80s in Fun New Music Video for ‘Only Human

0

They’re only human — in the best way!

Complete with disco lights, grainy footage, colorful outfits, and synchronized dancing, the Jonas Brothers went back to the ’80s for their new “Only Human” music video.

The video opens up with the trio on stage, with sunglasses on, surrounded by clubgoers head-bopping to the beat of their hit reggae-pop song. Perfectly edited to mimic a music video produced in the ’80s, the camera zooms in and out of scenes, flipping through colorful lights and footage of the audience shimmying to the music.

During the first chorus, the entire club joins in to sing with Joe Jonas, before the venue is filled with bubbles as Nick Jonas begins his vocals.

They even take the scene outside in an iconic ’80s-esque moment when Joe and Kevin Jonas dance on top of a vintage taxi cab. The clubgoers jog and dance in unison around them.

The music video dropped just one week after the Jonas Brothers kicked off their worldwide Happiness Begins tour on August 7, with a show at the American Airlines Arena in Miami, Florida.

The tour marks their first in nearly a decade and follows their highly anticipated reunion earlier this year. It’ll take them across the U.S., Canada, Mexico, and Europe, before coming to an end in February 2020.

Cardi B Can’t Swim — So Rapper Jokes That She Bought Breast Implants to ‘Float’ Instead

0

Cardi B is back with yet another hilariously candid confession — and this time, it’s about her breast implants.

On Sunday, the “Press” rapper captioned a photo of herself rocking colorful braids, a cut-out black long-sleeved crop top (which exposes most of her chest) and neon pink pants on Instagram, “I can’t swim so I bought these titties so I can float.”

In the comments section of the post, Cardi, 26, received love from several stars, including DJ Diplo, who wrote, “Your [sic] a genius.” Supermodel Naomi Campbell also commented, “I know the feeling can’t float,” with two hearts.

Though it has been a longstanding urban myth that breast implants can help people float, it has been proven that saline implants have little to no impact on swimmers as they are neutrally buoyant. Silicone implants, which are denser than water, might even have a slight sinking effect.

During an interview with Entertainment Tonight in May, Cardi revealed that she underwent a second breast augmentation surgery following the birth of her 13-month-old baby girl, Kulture Kiari, whom she shares with husband Offset, 27.

“I just got my boobs redone,” she said. “I feel good, but then sometimes I feel like not, you know? [When] your skin is stretched out.”

“Yes, my daughter f—ed me up,” she joked. “She did. She so did.”

Cardi B

Last September, Cardi — who had her first breast enhancement surgery at 19 — posted a candid clip to her Instagram page explaining that she wanted to go under the knife to make her chest appear more lifted.

“I don’t give a f—. If y’all mothaf—ers see me gone in November, December I’m getting my tits done! I don’t give a f—. Matter of fact, I’m not even gonna call it surgery. I’m just gonna say a titty renovation cause I gotta renovate these s—s!” she said. “Kulture did me filthy!”

In May, Cardi confirmed that she also had liposuction after denying it for months. During her performance at the Beale Street Music Festival in Memphis, Cardi told the crowd that she did, in fact, get the plastic surgery.

“I have some news for y’all. I should have canceled today,” she said at the festival. “I shouldn’t really be performing because moving too much is gonna f— up my lipo. But bitch I’m still gonna get my motherf—ing money back, let’s go!”

Cardi B

Cardi went on to cancel and postpone a series of her concerts as she recovered from the surgery. To critics who said she should exercise instead of opting for surgery, Cardi said during an Instagram Live later that month, “I do whatever the f— I want with my body.”

“My job as an entertainer is a 24-hour job, bro. So, no, I don’t have time to work out,” she said. “And I wanted specific things that I know that no matter how much I work out, is not going to get fixed. Like my boobs, no matter how much I work out, they’re not going to lift themselves. So yeah, I have to get f—ing surgery. That’s right. All right?”
