The Wanted star Tom Parker has died after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer.

The Wanted star Tom Parker has died at the age of 33 after being diagnosed with terminal brain cancer, the British boy band have announced.

The singer told fans in October 2020 that he had an inoperable tumour.

His wife Kelsey Hardwick wrote on Instagram: «Our hearts are broken.» The pair had two young children together.

She added: «Tom was the centre of our world. We can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.»

Her post continued: «We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children.

«Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I’m forever proud of you.»

The couple married in 2018 and had a daughter, Aurelia Rose, and a son, Bodhi.

The band said they were «devastated» by Parker’s death and that they were with him and his family at his side when he died.

The Wanted formed in 2009, with Parker, Max George, Siva Kaneswaran, Nathan Sykes and Jay McGuiness.

They had two UK number one singles – Glad You Came and All Time Low – and eight other top 10 hits including Chasing The Sun, Heart Vacancy and Lightning.

Kaneswaran also wrote his own post on Instagram, saying: «Hey Tom, hope you’re having a blast up there.

«I am so grateful that I had a chance to witness your true courage. It has been a pleasure of my life Tommy Boy.

«Thank you for letting us see you light up the world. Talk to you soon and see you later. Love you brother x.»

Parker posted a picture with his bandmates earlier this week, simply stating: «Dream team.»

The Wanted reunited for a Stand Up To Cancer Gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall last September, organised by Parker. It also raised money for the National Brain Appeal.

The group then released a greatest hits album in November. Shortly before the album’s release, Parker told fans his brain tumour was «stable» and «under control».

They then went on tour and Parker put in an appearance sitting on a throne on stage at some of their last shows earlier this month.

BBC Radio 1 DJ Adele Roberts, who revealed in January that she had been treated for bowel cancer, said Parker was «such a hero and an inspiration to me».

She wrote on Twitter: «He was so strong. Rest In Power Tom and thank you for everything you did.»

Singer Ed Sheeran posted on Instagram: «So sad to hear of Tom’s passing. Thoughts and love are with Kelsey, his children and his family. Very sad day, what a lovely guy.»

Spandau Ballet’s Martin Kemp tweeted that Parker’s «bravery, fight and spirit» will «never be forgotten».

TV presenter Gaby Roslin said he was «so brave and such a lovely man».

Take That’s Howard Donald also paid tribute, writing: «So young and so sad. RIP Tom Parker from The Wanted. Strength and love to his family.»

Rylan Clark said it was «absolutely gutting» news. «He was such a good’un. So sad to hear. Sending my love to Kelsey and the kids,» he wrote.

Former One Direction star Liam Payne said he was «heartbroken». «[Parker] was so full of life and humour, and the memories I have of him with stay with me forever.»

Presenter Davina McCall remembered Parker as the «kindest soul».

Fellow British boyband Blue, tweeted that Parker was «an inspiration» and «changed the lives of everyone he came into contact with».

Singer Joe McElderry tweeted: «So very very sad 🙁 life can be cruel! My thoughts to his family and friends.»

Union J singer JJ Hamblett said it was «such a cruel, cruel world… RIP Tom.. you will be missed but never never forgotten».

Non-profit organisation Brain Tumour Research UK released a statement commending Parker’s openness about his illness and his fundraising efforts.

The charity’s Hugh Adams said: «Since his diagnosis Tom has spoken openly and honestly about the impact of the disease and in doing so, has helped to raise awareness of the devastation caused by brain tumours.»

The former Fifth Harmony member was part of the Femme It Foward project on July 7th.

Lauren Jauregui is part of the Femme It Foward project with a song called While I’m Alive, part of the album Big Femme Energy Volume 1. The work is part of a music and entertainment company led by women to promote intersectional feminism and opportunities among young racialized women. The album was released last July 9, but has just released its making off showing images of the artists who participated in it, as is the case of Lauren Jauregui or other R&B artists such as Kiana Ledé or Tayla Parx.

The former Fifth Harmony member has always been active in the fight for social causes such as feminism, LGTBIQ+ or racism. A little less than a month ago, she launched her own podcast about mental health, paying homage to spirituality. In the artist’s own words, it is a space for reflection and honesty. The podcast offers a vision of a new Earth and serves to take care of the mind, body and spirit.

It is not a project open to everyone, for the moment, but is only available through the Patreon platform, where a subscription is required and a new program is released every Tuesday.

In November last year, she released her first studio album, Prelude. An album in which the artist gets naked, emotionally speaking, and of which she feels very proud. She had the opportunity to explore different paths and build an album with her own sound, worthy of the singer. She assures that she feels free and that she can do what she couldn’t do during her time in the girlband Fifth Harmony.

Lauren Jauregui wants to combine Anglo-Saxon music with an R&B touch with her Latin roots. She proved it with the release of songs like Colors or Falling, and the Spanish songs Lento, in collaboration with Tainy, and Nada with the Spanish CTangana.

There is just over a week left for Camila Cabello to release her new studio album Familia. A new album that we have been hearing about for the last two years and of which the artist herself has been presenting a good list of songs until today when she presented Boys don’t cry in her official accounts.

It is the second premiere that the Cuban artist has made on her social networks and it comes just 24 hours after the premiere of the fragment of Everyone at this party. Two beautiful songs whose theme seems to be inspired by the sentimental relationship now broken with Shawn Mendes.

These are not the first songs that Camila Cabello’s fans can listen to before her album, Familia, is released on April 8. This is the singer’s third studio album, after Romance and Camila. An album with Latin sounds that wants to show the artist’s family ties, with lyrics about her daily life. Some of the songs are already known, such as the already released Don’t go yet, where she mixed cumbia and pop, or the recent collaboration with Ed Sheeran, Bam Bam, with a catchy melody full of onomatopoeias.

Kehlani will premiere her next song with Justin Bieber this week: ‘Up at night

The Bieber clan is since a few years ago a real circle of talent in which singers, songwriters, producers… come and go helping the Canadian in their own musical productions or ‘reclaiming’ favors rendered years ago. That is the case of Kehlani who in the coming days will release the collaboration with which the Canadian ‘returns’ his duet in Get me that they released in March 2020 just when the pandemic broke out. A mid tempo with R&B touches in which they expressed what that special person can provoke in you and the compatibility you have.

The new song of the duo will be titled Up at night and will be part of the new musical project of the interpreter that will pick up the baton of It was good until it wasn’t that she published about a couple of years ago and that very soon will have a successor although at the moment we have not been able to hear a brief fragment or advance of it.

For the occasion, Kehlani has decided to go all out and show off the muscle that her friendship with Justin Bieber gives her. And if that wasn’t enough incentive for the musical premiere, Kehlani has put on red leather from head to toe making it clear that being awake at dawn has a double meaning.

We won’t have to wait too long to hear the voices of the American and the Canadian again complementing each other perfectly since, as both soloists have confirmed through their official profiles on social networks, Up at night will be released next Wednesday, March 30, that is, in the early hours of Thursday, March 31 in our country.

Kehlani’s album will not wait much longer and under the title Blue water road will be available in stores around the world and on major streaming platforms on April 29th. Now we just have to wait a few hours to discover the sound of his new collaboration with Justin Bieber and if it will follow in the footsteps of Get me with which they conquered the public a couple of years ago.

Andrew Pop Wansel and Roget Chahayet are the producers of this song that will be one of the first musical releases of the Canadian so far in 2022 after a few intense years of creating and publishing songs. A few weeks ago he presented Attention with Omah Lay

Chris Rock and Will Smith have been involved in a painful altercation during the 2022 Oscar telecast. Rock appeared on stage to present the Oscar for Best Documentary Feature and made an unfortunate joke about Jada Pinkett Smith being in ‘Lieutenant O’Neil’ because of her shaved head. Smith went on stage and slapped Rock.

Although it seemed like a joke at first, Smith returned to his seat and shouted at Rock, «Keep my wife’s name out of your fucking mouth!» visibly angry and beside himself. Many in the audience seemed stunned by the altercation, unsure if it was a joke. Diddy was the next presenter during the ceremony, where he appeared to introduce the 50th anniversary celebration of ‘The Godfather’. Diddy addressed the situation, saying, «Will and Chris, we’re going to work that out as a family. Right now we’re moving forward with love.»

The video with sound of the incident is particularly unpleasant, as the American ABC broadcast cut the sound at the moment of the slap. Will Smith’s publicist, Meredith O. Sullivan, approached him during the commercial break to have a conversation. Also during the commercial break, Will Smith is pulled aside and comforted by Denzel Washington and Tyler Perry, who tell him to ignore it. Will appears to wipe tears from his eyes as he returns to sit with Jada, with Denzel comforting Jada and Will’s manager at his side.

Pinkett Smith announced last year that she had to shave her head after battling alopecia. The actress said in an Instagram post:

«Now, at this point, I can only laugh… everyone knows I’ve been battling alopecia. All of a sudden, one day… it just popped up like this. Now, this is going to be a little harder for me to hide. So, I thought I’d share it so you don’t ask questions…. Mom will have to take it to her scalp so no one thinks she had brain surgery or something. This alopecia and I are going to be friends…period!».

But perhaps the most awkward moment of the night came later, when the performer was to pick up the award for Best Actor for playing Richard Williams, father of Venus and Serena, in ‘The Williams Method’ (King Richard). He was there for that and the whole ceremony was completely derailed by what happened beforehand, so that when he went to collect the statuette with tears in his eyes, but not of emotion, after receiving an ovation, using his speech to apologize visibly affected, in an uncomfortable and strange atmosphere he was able to get out of the incident halfway.

The incident has created outrage in networks, and many have ventured to opine that Smith should have been expelled from the gala, even that he should be stripped of the Oscar. The actor’s full acceptance speech was full of allusions to what had just happened and apologies to the Academy and nominees, but failed to mention the assaulted, Chris Rock. You can read it below:

«Richard Williams was a fierce advocate for his family. At this point in my life, at this moment, I am overwhelmed by what God is calling me to do and be in this world. In making this film, I had to protect Aunjanue Ellis, who is one of the strongest and most delicate people I have ever met. I have to protect Sinai and Demi, the two actresses who play Venus and Serena. I’m being called upon in my life to love people. And protect people and be a river for my people.

I know, to do what we do, we have to be able to take the abuse. You have to be able to make people talk about you insanely. In this business you have to be able to have people disrespect you and you have to smile and pretend that’s okay. Denzel said to me a few minutes ago, ‘At your highest moment, be careful, that’s when the devil comes for you.’ I want to be a vessel for love. I mean, thanks to Venus and Serena and the whole Williams family for trusting me with their story.

I want to be an ambassador of that kind of love and care. I want to apologize to the Academy, I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees. This is a beautiful moment and I’m not crying about winning an award. It’s not about winning an award for me, it’s about being able to shine a lot of light on all the people…and the whole cast and crew of ‘King Richard’ and Venus and Serena and the whole Williams family. Art imitates life – I look like the crazy dad, as they said about Richard Williams! But, love will make you do crazy things.»

I hope the Academy invites me back!»

It seems that the history between Chris Rock and Will Smith goes back a long way, specifically at the 2016 Oscars, when Rock made some jokes with Jada because she was boycotting the Oscars on behalf of Will, who was one of the main supporters of the hagstag #Oscarsowhite, a protest that changed the history of the ceremonies.

«Jada says she’s not coming – is she on some TV show? Is she going to boycott the Oscars? Jada boycotting the Oscars is like me boycotting Rihanna’s panties. I wasn’t invited That’s not an invitation I would turn down, but I get it, I’m not hating.»

Ed Sheeran and J Balvin release two tracks together.

Singer J Balvin premiered his long-awaited collaborations with Ed Sheeran. The songs are «Sigue» and «Forever My Love», in which the British singer sings in Spanish.

This Thursday 24th, J Balvin and Ed Sheeran premiered two collaborations: «Sigue» and «Forever My Love». Both songs had been announced a few days ago by the Colombian, who shared on social networks a brief preview of the audiovisual production with the British artist.

Then, Balvin shared videoclip with an emotional message in which he explains that each song explores the world of each artist. «Everything good takes time. Six months ago I was in the gym and I said: this ‘man’ is similar to Ed Sheeran, well it was, it was him,» he told.

«We had a coffee, we talked about life and we had a great vibe, we created a genuine friendship talking about everything from the simplest things to how to be a father hehe. In New York we agreed to meet one day in the studio and well, you’ll see later what we did hehehehe,» he added.

Also, J Balvin said about his collaboration with Ed Sheeran: «I wanted him to be in a song in the world of reggaeton and he invited me to his world, it was brutal to hear it in Spanish and we hope you enjoy this as much as we do. Much love and peace on earth.

Sebastián Yatra recruits John Legend for a bilingual version of his hit «Tacones Rojos».

The Colombian singer-songwriter unveiled this Wednesday the bilingual version of his hit song in which he also shares microphones with the outstanding American singer-songwriter John Legend.

The video for this version was shot in Los Angeles and we see Yatra and Legend -who are neighbors in the video clip- talking about that girl who dances reggaeton with red heels that drives the Colombian crazy.

Also several scenes of the visual production remind us of the famous movie/musical «La La Land».

Sebastián Yatra said that although the song has the energy of the original version, he considers it a completely new song.

«It has the joy of the original track, but for me it’s a completely new song. It sounds like it was created this way. It was meant to have John’s voice on it along with mine,» Yatra said via a statement.

What seems to have captivated Legend to share his voice on the track is the energy it conveys.

«Red Heels has a beautiful, upbeat vibe. It’s about meeting someone who brings love, light and charm into your life,» John Legend said via a statement.

Those «Red High Heels» that captivated Sebastian Yatra.
Legend says that this was the first time he tried to translate a song from Spanish to English and in which he could preserve not only the metric but the sonority of the original. This was one of the American’s biggest challenges, he says.

«It was already an amazing single, but this is the first time I’ve tried to translate a Spanish song into English. It’s not a simple conversion of words. You have to translate the feeling and reshape it and adapt the language so that it flows naturally and feels like an original English song,» Legend said.

Sebastian Yatra showed gratitude at Legend’s generosity in joining the project.

«Creating this version together with John has been a beautiful experience,» the Colombian said through a statement.

«The fact that he sings a song that I wrote, these melodies and this message of love makes me very happy and is rewarding for me both personally and professionally,» he added.

The success of «Tacones Rojos».
The track is part of «Dharma», Yatra’s third album production, which according to his record label (Universal Music) is the most played Latin album on Spotify so far.

«I wrote this album with all the lessons that this last year has left me… this big process of life that I’ve had, to really follow my heart and do the things that I want to do, that I am born and that are natural to me, not to create so many obstacles for fear, to follow my spirit,» Yatra told Zona Pop CNN about «Dharma.»

«Tacones Rojos» also charted in TikTok’s Top 10 and Spotify’s Global Top 50. In February, the single reached the top spot on Billboard’s Latin Airplay chart.

In the U.S. it has been certified platinum by the RIAA.

Harry Styles Announces Third Solo Album, ‘Harry’s House,’ Set for May

Harry Styles has announced his third solo album, “Harry’s House,” due to come out May 20.

Little was revealed about the forthcoming release in an official announcement, beyond the date, title, the promise of 13 new tracks and the album cover art, which has the pop superstar scratching his chin standing on the ceiling of an upside-down living room.

Styles also posted a short teaser video that includes no new music beyond a synthesizer soundtrack, showing him walking onto a theater stage and smiling as a house facade is raised around him.

The album news is not wholly unexpected, as Styles was rumored to be having new music to promote before he takes to the stage as a headliner of the Coachella festival April 15 and 22.

In February, he was spotted filming a music video in the streets of central London, lounging on a giant bed that was being pulled past Buckingham Palace, although it wasn’t entirely clear then whether he might still be releasing singles off his previous album or had something fresher in store.

Fans had been wondering if Styles’ new album might be called “You Are Home,” since he had been dropping clues in a viral campaign leading to a website using that phrase. When fans visited the site, it showed a door which, after a few days, opened to show a multicolored background. The website was advertised in newspapers that included drawings of some of the living-room furniture that ended up being part of the album cover.

If it seems like Styles never really went away following his previous album, “Fine Line,” which came out in December 2019, it’s because of a series of successful singles hitting radio and touring plans behind that album being delayed by the pandemic. He wrapped up his three-month U.S. “Love on Tour” outing in November, with plans to take it to Europe this summer and Central and South America in the fall, following one last U.S. one-off at Coachella.

“Fine Line” generated two singles that reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100, “Adore You,” which peaked at No. 6 and was certified four-times platinum, and “Watermelon Sugar,” which reached No. 1 and went five-times platinum. Three other singles (“Lights Up,” “Falling” and “Golden”) were certified platinum.

Styles’ solo career has been on the upswing, with the success of “Fine Line” well outstripping that of his debut, 2017’s “Harry Styles.” That solo bow, while critically acclaimed and the driver of a sold-out tour, generated just one significant radio hit, “Sign of the Times.” The eponymous album went platinum, while “Fine Line” has been certified triple-platinum by the RIAA.

Tickets for a summer overseas stadium tour — also named “Love on Tour,” indicating that he considers it a continuation of his recent U.S. tour rather than a complete reboot — went on sale in January.

The European leg of the tour begins June 11 in Glasgow and wraps up July 31 in Portugal. After a three and a half month gap, he’ll resume touring in the Americas in the fall, starting Nov. 22 in Mexico and winding up for the year Dec. 10 in Brazil.
