Sam Smith was originally scheduled to release their third album, To Die For, on June 5th. But on Monday, the singer announced that in light of the ongoing COVID-19pandemic, they will be renaming the album and pushing back the release date.

“I have done a lot of thinking the last few weeks and feel that the title of the album and imminent release doesn’t feel right,” they wrote in a statement, “so I have come to the decision to continue working on the album and make some important changes and additions.”

Smith stressed that “there will be an album this year,” and promised their fans more new music in the coming months. The new title and release date have yet to be announced.

“Thank you for always being by my side and for your understanding and patience,” they concluded. “I always want to do right by you. Always.”

Smith released the lead single and title track for the album on Valentine’s Day, and shared an acoustic version of “To Die For” in mid-March, as the coronavirus pandemic was ramping up, with millions around the world entering state-sanctioned quarantine. It is unknown if the song will remain on the final version of the album.

Billie Eilish, Moby Reflect on Coachella in Festival Doc Trailer

Billie Eilish, Moby, Ice Cube and Perry Farrell marvel at the grand spectacle of Coachella in the new trailer for a documentary about the long-running music festival. The YouTube Original film, Coachella: 20 Years in the Desert, will stream for free starting April 10th.

“Everybody knows what Coachella is,” Eilish says to open the clip. “Even if you don’t care about music, you know.” Later, Ice Cube highlights the massive publicity — and scrutiny — that follows a performance at the California festival, and Farrell echoes that sentiment. “You’re gonna be judged, man, when you hit Coachella’s stage,” the singer says. “And it’s gonna be talked about for the rest of the year, so you better get your shit right.”

The trailer also features snippets from performances by Radiohead, Beyoncé, Madonna, Paul McCartney, Post Malone, and the headline-sparking Tupac Shakur hologram. Toward the end, Moby reflects on performing at the first Coachella in 1999, enthusing about the “remarkable” concept of staging a festival in the middle of the desert.

The 2020 Coachella was originally scheduled for April 10th but was postponed to October due to the coronavirus pandemic.

Rihanna Just Revealed When She’s Going To Have Children (And How Many!)

Rihanna has babies on the brain — and let’s just say, she wants a full house.

Speaking to British Vogue for the mag’s upcoming May issue, the pop star opened up about everything from her overwhelming work ethic, breaking off her romance with billionaire Hassan Jameel and what she hopes her life will look like in the next 10 years. “Since I turned 32, I’m realizing life is really short,” she told the publication. “You don’t have a lot of time to tolerate s—t, you know? You put so much on your plate. … And I’m overwhelmed too much. What’s happening now is that I’m going back to black and white. My grey area is shutting down.”

With all the demand surrounding her hotly anticipated new album and her ever-expanding Fenty Beauty brand, the “Diamonds” songbird says her workaholic nature is all part of a larger, long-term goal. “I’m working like this now so that I don’t to in the future,” she reveals. “I know I want to live differently.”

Part of that imminent transition, Ri shares, involves wanting to have a family of her own — something she ponders when asked where she sees herself in the next decade. “Ten years? I’ll be 42! I’ll be ancient,” she quips. “I’ll have kids – three or four of ’em.”

What’s more, when asked if she’d be willing to raise her children on her own if she had to, Rihanna said, “Hell, yeah.”

“I feel like society makes me want to feel like, ‘Oh, you got it wrong…’ They diminish you as a mother if there’s not a dad in your kids’ lives,” she explained. “But the only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”

The Young and Restless star Max Ehrich hopped on Instagram Live over the weekend, and a very interesting guest made an accidental appearance.

That’s right. Demi Lovato, who is rumored to be dating the actor, walked into the room as Ehrich entertained fans on the piano. In a clip uploaded to Twitter, the actor looks off-camera and tries to warn Lovato by whispering «I’m on live.»

Lovato, who couldn’t hear what he said, approached him smiling and holding a blanket. When she asked him to repeat, and realized what was happening, she covered her face with the blanket and laughed as she walked away.

The stars have yet to confirm their relationship, but the fact that they are seemingly quarantining together speaks for itself. See the hilarious IG Live moment below.

Selena Gomez performs onstage during the 2019 American Music Awards at Microsoft Theater on Nov. 24, 2019 in Los Angeles.

Selena Gomez has tips on how to get through self-isolation. They’re rock-solid suggestions: cooking, music, podcasts, books, movies and TV.

The “Lose You to Love Me” singer posted some fun pictures of herself in the kitchen, cooking what looks to be mac and cheese with a roast.

“Trying to take a cute/serious pic of me cooking but then felt embarrassed so I’m using the candid where I look so happy but I really feel kinda cheesy,” she writes. No way, all the cheese is in the dish.

She also took the time to list off her pop culture moments. For music, Selena suggests tuning into “Snowchild,” a track from her ex The Weeknd, plus tunes by Lauren Daigle, Julia Michaels, Roddy Rich and others. And for movies, why not try Invisible Man, American Hustle and Zodiac or just sit back and watch repeats of SNL.

Gomez hasn’t just chilled this past month. Last week, she released the music video for Rare fan-favorite track «Dance Again,” with a portion of proceeds from its merch going to the MusiCares COVID-19 Relief Fund. She also introduced to the world her new pooch, Daisy.

Listen to Three Bonus Songs From The Deluxe Version of The Weeknd’s ‘After Hours’

Musical guest The Weeknd performs on ‘Saturday Night Live,’ March 7, 2020.

«Nothing Compares,» «Missed You» and «Final Lullaby» are out now.

The Weeknd just dropped his After Hours album — which hit No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart with the biggest week of the year — but he’s not done.

On Monday morning (March 30), he gifted fans with three more songs on top of the 14 tunes on the album. The tracks, «Nothing Compares,» «Missed You» and «Final Lullaby,» appear on the 22-track deluxe version of the release.

«Nothing Compares» is a spooky downtempo with ominous new wave keyboards and a sluggish beat and lyrics wondering about the emptiness that remains when love dies. In a similarly stripped-down manner, the ticking «Missed You» is about the pain, regret, and confusion that fills the void left by love.

The spacey, somewhat soothing «Final Lullaby» sounds exactly like you might expect, only with slightly ominous lyrics in which he sings/warns, «I can’t make you stay/ In this broken place/ Won’t you find peace?/ Close your eyes and I put us to sleep.»

Listen to the songs below.

Khalid Teams Up With Dance Crew in Joyful ‘Know Your Worth’ Video

Khalid touts the virtues of refusing to settle for less in “Know Your Worth,” his collaboration with British DJ-production duo Disclosure. In the new video, the singer teams up with a dance crew, whose joyful choreography peppers the clip.

In the Daniel Russel-directed visual, Khalid delivers the uplifting track’s words of encouragement as he performs on a dimly lit stage. Dancers dressed in colorful garb reenact the sentiments of the soothing lyrics, which address abandoning bad relationships and moving toward supportive ones. “You don’t know your worth/All the things I know that you deserve,” he sings on the chorus. “Say it’s not real if it doesn’t hurt/Find someone you know will put you first/Find someone who loves you at your worst.”

“Know Your Worth” is the Texas singer’s second collaboration with Disclosure, following their 2019 hit, “Talk,” off Khalid’s sophomore album, 2019’s Free Spirit, which arrived last April. In October, he teamed up with Major Lazer for a new song, “Trigger.” The R&B artist also recently unveiled his solo tracks, “Up All Night” and “Eleven.”
