Robert Pattinson Has «Terror Memories» of Paparazzi After Twilight Era Editar entrada Añadir nueva

Robert Pattinson may have fond memories from the Twilight era, but they don’t include the paparazzi.

The 33-year-old actor, who rose to fame as Edward Cullen in the beloved vampire franchise, was a target of photographers for many years amid the release of the five films. The attention was so severe that, as Pattinson has previously admitted, he would at times ride in trunks of cars to avoid photographers.

And while the media madness might’ve calmed down a bit for Pattinson in recent years, it understandably has made a a major impact on him. Looking back on the media frenzy now, the private star admits that he will often wear certain clothes as a shield to protect himself.

«I have so many terror memories of the paparazzi,» Pattinson shares with British GQ in a new interview, published on Wednesday. «And I still don full-on protective armor, hood up, hat down.»

Despite this, Pattinson, who has been the face of Dior for years now, notes that he’s come a long way in the style department.»If I was choosing to wear clothes myself, I don’t think I would have gone in a lot the directions that I have ended up going in with Dior and people like [fashion designer] Kim Jones,» Pattinson tells the outlet. «I never would have thought I would be wearing chiffon, silk and satin. I wore this tuxedo, which had basketball shorts last year – never would have imagined that!»

One of Pattinson’s major style regrets? His ensemble at the Harry Potter And The Goblet Of Fire premiere in 2005.»I was wearing leather trousers with these cowboy boots and a velvet jacket,» he tells GQ. «I mean, it literally looked like a kid had gone into a dressing-up box.»

Now, Pattinson looks to A$AP Rocky for style tips.

«I wish I could dress like A$AP Rocky, he just has serious style,» Pattinson shares. «We have been to quite a few different fittings together and I will see the craziest thing and really want to wear it, but look like a total moron. Then we will go to the show and I will see Rocky in it and be like, ‘Jesus Christ, you can literally wear anything!'»

Nick Jonas Talks New JoBros Album & That Unfortunate Grammys Spinach Incident on ‘Fallon’: Watch

Jonas Brothers have a new album coming soon. That’s the word according to Nick Jonas, who stopped by The Tonight Show for a chat and to play some games with host Jimmy Fallon. «Yeah, a new album. It’s coming,» the JoBro told Fallon on Tuesday night (Feb. 25). «We figured, why slow down.” After their 2019 reunion album Happiness Begins, the pop trio “literally two or three weeks later we were with a bunch of our songwriting friends, we went somewhere to record to write and came out with a record pretty much done,» he explained. Ryan Tedder is back on board the project, for which “we’re putting the finishing touches on now,” he continued. “We’re ready to go.” The sibling act dropped the first song from their new album in January, “What a Man Gotta Do.” Tedder worked on the bros’ last album Happiness Begins, which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and yielded the Billboard Hot 100 leader “Sucker.”

Jonas clearly has a lot on his plate right now. The 27-year-old has a regular gig on another NBC show, The Voice, where he’s settling in as a coach for season 18. And just last month, he and his brothers were nominated for best pop duo/group performance at the Grammys, where they hit the stage for a two-song performance. Nick was apparently so busy he forgot to check himself in the mirror. The whole world apparently spotted the spinach wedged in his teeth, everyone with the exception of the singer. He found out soon after he exited the stage. “The first message on my phone was from Adam Levine,” he told Fallon. «It was like, ‘nice performance. You had a bit of schmutz in your cheek.’” No harm, no foul. “It just goes to show you,” Jonas said, “you can be performing on the Grammys, and be nominated and still have spinach in your teeth.” True, that.

To prove he’s a good sport, Jonas stuck around to play a round of “Slay it, don’t spray it,» a game where the pair slam karaoke pop songs, and get punished with a squirt of water in the face each time they mess up. Get it right, the other guy gets sprayed. First up, Jonas got Katy Perry’s “I Kissed a Girl”. Easy. Then Fall Out Boy’s «Sugar, We’re Goin’ Down.” Not a problem. Jonas doesn’t leave the game dry. He has a Jonas Brothers song to thank for it. Watch below.

Harry Styles Announces ‘Falling’ Video With Water-Soaked Teaser

Harry Styles took to social media on Monday (Feb. 24) to tease the upcoming music video for his new single «Falling.»

In the nine-second clip, the former One Direction-er sits drenched and forlorn, breathing heavily in the corner of a room slowly filling with water before the video’s Feb. 28 release date flashes on screen.

«Falling» will serve as the fourth single from the superstar’s mammoth sophomore solo album Fine Line — following «Lights Up,» «Watermelon Sugar» and «Adore You» — and comes just days after Styles gave a swoonworthy performance of the ballad at the 2020 Brits.

Wearing his newly-signature pearl necklace, an embellished white jumpsuit and matching gloves, the pop star belted out his latest single as water cascaded out of the grand piano on stage with him, perhaps hinting at the aesthetic of the music video to come.

Watch Justin Bieber Get Ready For the ‘Changes’ Release in New ‘Seasons’ Episode

On the heels of Justin Bieber landing his seventh No. 1 album with Changes, Beliebers are getting another inside look at his road to his return in episode 9 of his YouTube docuseries Seasons.

Titled «Album on the Way,» the episode arrived on Monday (Feb. 24), and it’s all about how Bieber prepared for the highly anticipated Changes release with the help of the people around him.

Though Bieber doesn’t talk much himself in the episode, his longtime choreographer Nick DeMoura, his health coach Buzz Mingin, and his close pal/Drew House co-founder Ryan Good all detailed the positive strides Justin has made over the past few years.

«The changes I’ve seen with Justin are monumental,» Dr. Mingin said. «He’s matured tremendously. He’s not living in survivor mode anymore.» Good later added, «He’s not medicating himself, he’s just growing and using the down moments to his advantage and he’s learning.»

The episode also shares behind-the-scenes footage of the «Yummy» video, which Bieber admits wasn’t an easy shoot because he was «in my head a lot.» But he now recognizes that he’s going to have bad days, and as the episode shows, he has plenty of people in his camp to help him through those — particularly his wife, Hailey, who says confidently, «I know he’s the most excited for this chapter.»

EDITOR’S NOTE: This article was updated to correct an error about the Seasons finale episode, as episode 9 is not the finale.

Beyoncé Kicks Off Kobe Bryant Memorial with Special Performance of ‘XO’ and ‘Halo’ (Watch)

Beyonce kicked off Monday’s public memorial for Kobe Bryant with a special performance of her songs “XO” and “Halo.”

“I’m here because I love Kobe, and this is one of his favorite songs,” she said before launching into a special rendition of “XO.” She was accompanied by singers and a string quartet, and wore a gold pantsuit.

“I want to start that over,” Beyonce continued. “But I want us to do it all together, and I want you to sing it so loud that he hears your love.”

After the performance, the announcer at Staples Center praised Beyonce for “expressing her love [for Bryant] so beautifully.”

The two songs are similar in feel and theme — and indeed, both were cowritten by Beyonce and Onerepublic frontman Ryan Tedder. “XO” is featured on Beyonce’s self-titled 2013 album and was cowritten by the pair with Terius “The-Dream” Nash, while “Halo” comes from her 2009 album “I Am… Sasha Fierce” and was written by Beyonce and Tedder with Evan Bogart. “Halo” peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard Hot 100 and remained on that chart for 30 weeks in 2009. While “XO” was not as big of a radio hit — reaching No. 45 on the Hot 100 — it did well on other charts, reaching Silver status in the U.K. (for 200,000 sales) and No. 12 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart in the U.S.

Bryant, his daughter Gianna, and seven others were killed on Jan. 26 in a helicopter crash.

Blue Ivy Carter Won Her First Major Award For Her Beyoncé Collaboration And Her Family Is Thrilled

Blue Ivy Carter is following in her mom and dad’s footsteps, as the young artist has already won her first big award — and her famous family couldn’t be happier for her.

On Friday night (Feb. 21), it was announced that Beyoncé and Jay-Z’s 8-year-old daughter had won her first official honor at the 51st NAACP Image Awards in the category of Outstanding Duo, Group or Collaboration for «Brown Skin Girl,» her collaboration with Beyoncé, SAINt JHN and WizKiD off the 2019 album The Lion King: The Gift.

The Lion King: The Gift features songs inspired by the recent update of the Disney classic (in which Beyoncé voiced the part of Nala), and debuted at No. 2 on the Billboard 200. «Brown Skin Girl» gave Blue Ivy her very first song on the Billboard Hot 100 when it debuted at No. 76 on the chart in July.

Blue Ivy’s grandmother, Tina Lawson, shared her pride on Instagram following the news on Saturday (Feb. 22). «Grandma is soo proud of you,» she wrote alongside a photo of Blue Ivy. «You are giving all the beautiful little brown girls a voice.»

Rihanna Gets Standing Ovation For Inspiring Speech at 2020 NAACP Image Awards

Rihanna may have been the recipient of one of the biggest honors at the 51st annual NAACP Image Awards on Saturday night (Feb. 22), but she humbly turned the focus towards a powerful and crucial message.

The pop star, actress and beauty and fashion mogul received the President’s Award at the ceremony for her extraordinary philanthropic efforts across the globe: she’s raised millions of dollars for disaster relief, education abroad and awareness for issues affecting communities all over the world, and she stressed that she didn’t make this impact by working on her own.

«Tonight is not really about me, because the purpose is bigger than me, right?» she said upon accepting her award. «It’s not bigger than us together, but it’s bigger than me, because my part is a very small part of the work that is being done in this world and the work that is yet to be done.»

«I’m lucky I was able to start the Clara Lionel Foundation in 2012,» she continued, referring to the nonprofit organization she launched in her grandmother’s memory.

«If there’s anything I’ve learned, it’s that we can fix this world together. We can’t do it divided. I can’t emphasize that enough. We can’t let the desensitivity seep in — the ‘If it’s your problem, it’s not mine.’ ‘It’s a woman’s problem.’ ‘It’s a black people problem.’ ‘It’s a poor people problem.’ How many of us in this room have colleagues and partners and friends from other races, sexes, religions? Show of hands? Well then, they want to break bread with you, right? They like you? Well then, this is their problem, too. So when we’re marching and protesting and posting about the Michael Brown, Jr.s and the Atatiana Jeffersons of the world, tell your friends to pull up.»

She closed her remarks with another call for unity: «Imagine what we could do together. Thank you for this honor.»
