Camila Cabello Epitomizes Chic For «Rollacoaster», Talks Solo Album

0

Camila Cabello is shaping up to be quite the cover girl this summer. As the “Crying in the Club” siren gears up to release her forthcoming solo debut The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving. later this year, she has served face with some high profile photo shoots and celebrity endorsements. Most recently, the 20-year-old is delivering chic looks for Rollacoaster magazine.

Dressed in a blush dress and heels, she is pictured smirking while reclining across a bed on the cover. If the pic looks familiar it is because it surfaced earlier this month alongside a handful of pictures for Wonderland Magazine, which seems to imply that the shoots took place on the same day. As for the rest of the pics, the former member of Fifth Harmony poses in a luxurious home in a series of fashionable outfits. Abounding with saturated colors and warmth, it is an organic but memorable shoot that perfectly compliments the sound of her latest singles “Havana” and “OMG.”

The aspiring solo star reflected on her experiences recording her debut in the magazine’s accompanying interview. She revealed that the biggest challenge in the studio was balancing the staggering workload and her desire to finesse every element. “I’m such a perfectionist and I want everything to be right,” she said. On the bright side, her solo project gave her the opportunity to make choices on her own and to express her own experiences through the lyrics. “I think I was just avoiding talking about the hurt that I was feeling and I didn’t want to come to terms with it,” she explained but added that the process helped her find healing by writing about her experiences.

The project has also given her a unique voice that she didn’t necessarily have while part of a group. She’s using that voice to pay tribute to her culture and her family, an opportunity that she has truly embraced with her latest summery releases. Order your copy of the magazine here.

Sandra Bullock Has Donated Over $6 Million to Charities Without Most People Noticing

0

With her bubbly personality and her big heart, Oscar winner and mega-watt superstar Sandra Bullock nabbed the title of «America’s Sweetheart» a long time ago. But what most people don’t know about the private star is that she has a long history of giving big donations to people and causes in need.

Earlier today, E! News confirmed that the A-list actress, who owns a home in Austin, pledged $1 million to help victims of the tropical storm Hurricane Harvey, which has devastated the Houston, Texas area. Bullock’s generous donation, along with a slew of other celebs who have given, will benefit the American Red Cross in its ongoing effort to help those impacted by the catastrophic flooding and destruction along Texas’ Gulf Coast.

«I’m just grateful I can do it,» Bullock said in a statement. «We have to take care of one another.»

But this isn’t only time the modest star, who doesn’t seek attention for her charitable work, has given a great sum of money to help out after a tragedy strikes. Since 2001, she’s given a total of $5 million to the Red Cross to help out with relief efforts after various disasters.

While donating $5 million is obviously an enormous amount, the Oscar winner has not stopped there. Bullock has helped build a clinic in New Orleans’ oldest public high school and even donated money to help keep the legendary and aging pool manager of the Beverly Hills Hotel afloat after economic hardship.

Demi Lovato Is Nervous About One Of Her New Songs, Expects Headlines

0

It looks like Demi Lovato has written a song about an ex-boyfriend or a celebrity acquaintance. (Taylor Swift’s impact). “Sometimes you put out music that you just feel like everyone is going to know who it’s about,” the pop star told MTV. “Headlines are going to come out of it, and it’s like, when you write a song, you’re just being vulnerable, and you’re just writing about something that’s inspiring you, so all the baggage that comes with it is what I’m kind of nervous about.” However, don’t expect a diss track or beef.

“I think that everything happens for a reason, and certain emotions are felt at certain points in your life, and you don’t always have to explain them to people,” the “Sorry Not Sorry” hitmaker explained. “So whatever you want to think about it — you go into whatever theories you have — fine. But I know what it’s about and who it’s about and I’m just going to let it be.” Sounds interesting. It looks like Tell Me You Love Me is going to be Demi’s most personal album yet.

Paris Jackson Pays Tribute to Dad Michael With Flashback Photo on What Would be His 59th Birthday

0

Michael Jackson’s daughter, Paris, will never forget the bond she shared with her late father.

Tuesday, Aug. 29, would have been the King of Pop’s 59th birthday, and in remembrance of her dad, Paris shared an adorable father-daughter moment on Instagram, along with a heartfelt message.

«Birthday wishes to the love of my life, the one person who showed me what passion truly was, the one that gave me solid morals to live by and how to dream,» she wrote. «I will never feel love again the way I did with you. You are always with me and I am always with you.»

Paris, 19, added, «Though I am not you, and you are not me, I know with all of my being that we are one — and our souls will never change in that way. Thank you for the magic, forever and always.»

In addition to the flashback photo, Paris also posted an image of herself on the red carpet at Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards, and superimposed her father kissing her on the forehead.

This isn’t the first time Paris has paid tribute to the music legend. In June, she got yet another tattoo in her dad’s honor.

«With every step I take, you lift my foot and guide me forward. Love you ?,» she captioned a photo which showed the word «Apple Head» tattooed on her left foot. Apple Head was a nickname given to Michael by his children and fans.

Taylor Swift Is Breaking Records All Over the Place With ‘Look What You Made Me Do’

0

Taylor Swift is proving that success makes for the best revenge.

Upon the release of her fiery first single, «Look What You Made Me Do,» off her upcoming album, Reputation, the 27-year-old singer is shattering records held by her pop star peers.

The music video for «LWYMMD» premiered at the start of Sunday’s MTV Video Music Awards, and went on to make YouTube history by earning a whopping 43.2 million views in under 24 hours. This is over seven million more than the previous record holder, Psy, who earned 36 million views for his «Gentleman» music video in under 24 hours.

Swift’s music video — which is estimated to have received three million views per hour — also surpassed Adele’s «Hello» music video, which garnered 27 million views in that time frame. She also beat out Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee’s «Despacito» remix, featuring Justin Bieber, which earned 22 million views in 24 hours.

Even the lyric music video for «LWYMMD» was a huge win for the GRAMMY winner. So far, it has over 46 million views on YouTube, and was deemed the most-watched lyric video within a 24-hour time period.

But the record breaking doesn’t stop there for Swift. Her single also shot to the No. 1 spot on iTunes within 30 minutes of its release and went on to set the new global first-day streaming record on Spotify with over eight million streams.

Currently, the song remains at the top of the Apple Music and Amazon Music charts, as well as Spotify’s U.S. and Global Top 50 charts.

Swift’s Reputation album will be released on Nov. 10, and she’ll once again go up against Adele. The 29-year-old singer currently holds the U.S. record of most albums sold in one week after 3.4 million albums were purchased of 25 upon its debut in November 2015.

Selena Gomez’s Instagram Hacked, Nude Photos of Justin Bieber Are Posted

0

Selena Gomez appears to be the latest celebrity to have been hacked.

On Monday, naked photos of the 25-year-old singer’s ex-boyfriend, Justin Bieber, were posted on her Instagram, which currently has over 125 million followers. The account was quickly deactivated and the photos were removed. Shortly thereafter, Gomez’s account was up and running again with the NSFW images deleted.

Kirsten Stubbs, the Digital Marketing Director at Interscope Records, tweeted that Gomez’s record label was behind the temporary takedown of the pop star’s Instagram account after it appeared to have been compromised. «We deactivated with Instagram to ensure it’s secure before relaunching! Hang tight,» Stubbs tweeted in response to one of Gomez’s fans.

In May 2016, Gomez became the most-followed celebrity on Instagram, beating out Bieber and her pal, Taylor Swift.

In the April issue of Vogue magazine, Gomez revealed that she purposely started posting less on the photo-sharing site, no longer has the app on her phone and does not know the password to her account.

«As soon as I became the most-followed person on Instagram, I sort of freaked out,” she admitted. “It had become so consuming to me. It’s what I woke up to and went to sleep to. I was an addict, and it felt like I was seeing things I didn’t want to see, like it was putting things in my head that I didn’t want to care about.»

«I always end up feeling like sh** when I look at Instagram,» Gomez added. «Which is why I’m kind of under the radar, ghosting it a bit.»

Jay-Z told Amy Winehouse «stay with us» the first time they met

0

The rapper recalled meeting the late singer in a new interview

Jay-Z has recalled meeting Amy Winehouse for the first time in New York.

The rapper spoke about the meeting in a new interview, during which he also discussed his beef with Prodigy, his mum coming out and daughter Blue Ivy’s cameo on ‘4:44’.

Speaking about the importance of mental health in the context of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington’s death, Jay-Z drew parallels to Winehouse’s own passing, as Pitchfork reports.

“She was telling us, she was writing the songs to our face,” he said. “‘They’re trying to make me go to rehab, I’m not going.’ Like, ‘What? You have to go!’”

He also revealed what he said to her when he met her at the Spotted Pig following a performance at Joe’s Pub. “I looked at her and I was like ‘Stay with us’,” he said. “The first time we hung out, I said ‘Stay with us’.”

Watch the chat here.

The interview is the second part of a chat with Rap Radar’s Elliott Wilson and Brian “B.Dot” Miller. The first part was uploaded to Tidal last week and featured the Brooklyn rapper discussing his fights with Kanye West and Solange.

Of the latter, he said: “We’ve always had a great relationship. We’ve had one disagreement. Before and after, we’ve been cool.”

He added: “That’s my sister. Not my sister-in-law, no, my sister. Period.” Asked what he thinks when people say three great albums came out of that fight, he replied: “I think we went into that elevator great artists. That doesn’t surprise me.”

When Does «Game Of Thrones» Season 8 Premiere? — Everything We Know About The Final Season

0

«Game of Thrones» season 7 is done and fans are now looking ahead to season 8. From spoilers to the episode count, here’s everything we know about the final season!

*Season 8 doesn’t have premiere date — yet. HBO has not revealed when the final season will air. Game of Thrones season 8 could air in 2018, but it could be pushed back to 2019. The air date depends on when the show starts filming the final episodes, how long the episodes are, and how much CGI is used. Those dragons take a long time to create! HBO programming president Casey Bloys told Entertainment Weekly in June 2017 that the network would have a better idea of when the final season of Game of Thrones would premiere once showrunners D.B. Weiss and David Benioff get “further into the writing.”

*The final season will be a “bloodbath.” Season 7 didn’t really feature a gut-wrenching death. Littlefinger’s death was immensely satisfying. Viewers haven’t really been devastated over character deaths since the Red Wedding. However, that’s going to change in season 8. Kit Harington, 30, told our sister site Deadline that fans should get ready because the show will be killing main characters off quickly in the final season. “They’re going to go, and they’re going to go fast, and I think that the payoff of our characters not being in great peril this year will be that, next year, it’s going to be a bloodbath,” Kit said.

*Jon Snow and Daenerys could end up being torn apart. The season 7 finale featured Jon Snow and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) having sex for the first time after weeks of sexual tension building between them. The epic love scene was paired with Bran’s realization that Jon, being the legitimate son of Rhaegar Targaryen and Lyanna Stark, is the rightful heir to the Iron Throne, the one thing Daenerys has had her eye on since season one. “Just as we’re seeing these characters come together, we’re hearing the information that will inevitably, if not tear them apart, at least cause real problems in their relationship,” D.B. said in a post-episode featurette. “And she’s his aunt.”

*Season 8 will be an even shorter season than season 7. The final season of Game of Thrones will only be 6 episodes long. Sound designer Paula Fairfield told fans at Con of Thrones in July 2017 that the final episodes could be feature length. The season 7 finale was the show’s longest episode ever, with a 79-minute run time, so be prepared for longer episodes in the final season! There’s so much to cover!
